What is your multitool and why isn't it a Leatherman Wave?
For me, it is the McChicken, the best fast food sandwich.
>>32780764
Meh..Double Down is more /k/ than that.
>>32780764
pro tip tell them to add thai sauce on that.
Picked up some mags I've had on order for a week now.
Fresh from IWI. It seems it comes with free spice
Even the spring is slathered in jew sauce
Genuine factory rust
With jews you lose, anon.
You find yourself in early 19th century London, what is your EDC /k/?

Beefsplitter
>>32779168
How's that show, OP? I've been wondering if it's any good, hadn't heard hardly a peep about it.
>>32779168
Blunderbuss. Hanging from a shoulder sling up under my trenchcoat. Also a short saber
>like a no1 mk3 bayonet but i know wrong time period
Post your go to war knife of choice. Should be something that can be used in combat but also in the field for various tasks i.e. prying, field dressing, fire making etc. How will you carry/attach it?
>pictured my second (and new) ontario sp2 normally secured to my leg with paracord
>secured to my leg with paracord
Did you buy that with your good boy points faggot
>>32778414
>Ontario Kinfe
>USA

>>32780746

>>32780872
Waaaah it's not bait guise!
Remember this thread from a few days ago, something like "Strange guns thread" well a video has surfaced explaining what the fuck this actually is.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ax_u-fiPW8U
Haven't been on /k/ for a few days so I hope this hasn't been covered already.
Some kind of shotgun with an mp38 trigger group and handguard
>>32778028
Did you not even read the video comment?
/k figured out it was a Rem model 11 and MG42 grip last time it was posted.
>>32777725
this guy is a terrible interviewer
Sup /k/.
I'm looking for ways to store paperwork in the back of my departments patrol cars, mainly a boner and an accordion file.
File boxes are plastic and not very durable, so I'm thinking ammo cans.
Anyone know of ammo cans roughly 12"x14"x8"?
I know the 20mm would work, but I'm looking for something a bit shorter.
Thanks in advance.
>>32777571
Binder. Goddamn Swype.
>>32777571
This isn't an autos forum
>>32777596
No shit.
But it is a forum about weapons related topics, like fucking ammo cans.
The ACOG sight is used extensively by the US military. What are some of /k/'s thoughts and experiences?
It's fucking awesome. But expensive. And there's no real training on the Army side of how to use them.
>>32777442
is it worth $2000?
>>32777442
They the best of the best optics
JUST
JAM
Sup, glockfag
I wish just about any other polymer won the contract, these fucking sigfags..
So I was recently diagnosed with MS, and at some point in the future I will likely want/need a cane.
Naturally, I want it to be a capable self defense weapon. I want a high quality sword cane, as well as a quality hardwood/solid cane to use as a blunt weapon.
Does /k/ have any experience with canes? If so, any recommendations?
Bump.
This isn't just a for fun thread, I want to learn where to at least start my research before I need it.
>>32777401
I use a cane every day due to being shot in Afghanistan. My normal use cane is just a VA issue aluminum one but it is good for shepherd hooking ankles.
For other times I use a shillelagh. Nothing like getting a crack with an Irish war club
>>32777586
Thanks, looking into these.
So I figured this would be a good place to make this thread.
I'm sleaking to an army recruiter tomorrow, I've gained interest for joining because
1.We have entered into the New Era of Trump
2. My friend enlisted and Its piqued my interest
I don't know much about military service/military life. Is there anything you can tell me about
>military life
>what the service entails
>what kind of weapons you get to use and in what branch/area of service
>is it worth it?
>whats training like?
>>32777383
Also whats the difference in training for marines and army?
>>32777417
>difference in training for marines and army
time in boot and how loud they yell
>It sucks
>Everything shitty, a lot of sitting around or doing shitty duty
>If you aren't a POG you get whatever you're issued. Probably an M16A4 now
>No it is not during peace time
>Probably the most fun and worst thing you'll ever do
>>32777417
A few weeks, the amount of people yelling at you, what they yell at you, and how loud.
You have 1 firearm and 1 blade to use for the rest of your life.
>What are they and why?
Something reliable
>Rossi ranch hand carbine 45 colt
>TOPS BOB knife
>>32777310
I understand your knife choice but a short barrel lever action?
>Deagle brand Deagle
>Katana
I wanna be like the animus
Do you own body armor, /k/? And if not, what is your excuse for not having it?
There is literally no situation you can find yourself that involves using a gun to protect your life where body armor wouldn't be extremely helpful as well.
>>32779588
except for all those times where you don't get shot
>>32779588
Cost, everything I've ever found was expensive af
If there exists soft body armor that will stop a 9mm and won't break the bank I'll buy it
>>32779902
My dude.
http://www.ar500armor.com/
Though don't think I'm just shilling for these guys. Steel armor in general is durable, effective, and very inexpensive.
SO I took yalls advice and picked up a baofeng uv5r but the charger isn't working. The rid light means its charging and the green means its done, this fuckin thing just flashes green and red and doesn't charge it. Advice?
have fun talking to yourself
>>32777281
I don't need a radio to do that
Its not seated right in the charger....try again
I've been working pretty hard to gain weight, and my goal is to reach 170 lbs by the summer. However I'm off to infantry school (in US terms) in the summer for 2 months. Is all this work for gains a lost cause since I'll be out of the gym during that time?
>>32776872
Yes.
you will lean out like a motherfucker
all you will do is run and ruck, and the meatheads were the worse off, even more so than the skinny fucks.
>>32776872
Forget about your gains, faggot. The military is not about physical strength, but mental strength. Your willingness to never quit and embrace the suck while working within a team. That said, anyone who is even moderately fit will have an easy time in Basic.
>>32776872
What the fuck is Infantry school?
I was an 0311 and went to SOI ITB. Army calls it Osut or something, not sure.
You'll completely lose all your gains. Infantry =/= strong man flexin with yo shirt off.
