Was this the most effective AFV of WW2?
>>32791481
Depends on your definition of effective, If we talk in terms of kills per vehicle then tigers and other heavy tanks blows it out of the park.
>>32791767
Sounds like op is talking in general effective. Which means that reliability, cost and such should be included.
The T-34
can somebody tell me what this is?
>>32791459
A blurry photo of a pile of crap.
What do I win?
A failed abortion
>>32791459
a poorly taken picture
When the stug was invented would of it been more practical to focus solely on producing them rather than other types of tanks or to continue as they did?
>>32791480
>Would it of
Also they produced a fucking SHITLOAD of stugs dude fuck you mean
Traverseable turrets are fucking important, the Stug was just a way to have a gun, keep it's crew armored, and move up to fuck things
>so fucking complicated shapes on the front
It's like Germans fucking love unnecessary welding.
>>32791646
>it's like germans love unnecessary ___
So, how much does /k/ train?
Training is a meme.
>muh paper don't shoot back
Soldiers in the ME spend millions of rounds for every insurgent killed despite all of their training. Yet "tactical" fuckheads like Yeager try to convince us that you will die instantly if you ever get into a gunfight without training. Fact is, any gunfight you get into will come down to who points and squeezes fastest and most accurately.
>>32791387
>Training is a meme.
First mistake, you were never ready.
>>32791396
Guy has no training
I'll start.
>shitting in the field..
>carrying said shit back for disposal
>seasoning yourself in sweat and grime
>the field in general
>>32791137
it's still a lot of fun tho
>>32791137
>blue falcons who fuck you over every chance they get
>>32791137
>shitting in the field
Is comfy and nice. Best shits I've had in my life.
>carrying said shit back for disposal
Or you know, leaving a mine for anyone unlucky to step on it
>seasoning yourself in sweat and grime
Not really an issue so long as you keep your clothes on. The death-stank doesn't really set in before like a week.
>the field in general
Is just fine.
So /k/, what is the viability of beam weaponry?
Memes aside, what would the applications on such weaponry be effective at, be that in the hands of guerrilla forces who don't have access to firearms and use these to acquire better armament, riot squads, their job to be suppression and crowd control, or special forces, who will need to subdue and disable the threats.
Personally with a bit of tweaking, beam weaponry could be viable. The fact that it can blind you from even staring at the beam, makes it basically a hand-held flash bang gun, and can the sheer intensity of heat that it would land on the human skin would make it a similar effect to a flame thrower without the collateral damage and more the effect.
This guys stuff made me think about this, hes about as crazy as Royal Nonesuch, but seriously /int/
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzUoe-9bKa0&t=2s
>>32791060
Not viable at all with the amount of power needed to weaponize a laser. Other than giant ship mounted lasers for intercepting missiles.
There's better cheaper ways to kill/burn/blind people.
it's also a war crime
>>32791060
Handheld lasers are just sci-fi for now.
However, I can see large weaponized lasers being used on space ships, if warfare ever gets into space.
First gun, 19 year old college student bought with working at a restaurant
Anderson Manufacturing AR15 Skeleton gun
Magpul shit
UTG 6.4 inch red dot
15 round hexmags my FFL gave me for 7 bucks, probably going to get pmags soon
thoughts? Spent only 650 total
average gun is average
congratulations on your bang stick
>>32791058
yeah it's nothing special, I want to make a nice one that doesnt have the average magpul look next.
Basic rifle is basic.
Lose the foregrip, move your red dot to the front of the receiver, acquire rear iron sight.
A modern gas mask has no trouble fitting over facial hair. It's time to bring back military beards.
>>32791004
>A modern gas mask has no trouble fitting over facial hair.
It wouldn't fit on that beard though.
>>32791004
we must also bring back red trousers
>>32791419
Her magesty would barf at those hideous monstrosity's..
>holds 24+1 of 2.75" buckshot or slugs
>30.5" barrel in an overall package roughly equivalent or shorter than other tactical shotguns. More velocity and markedly less muzzle blast than just about any other shotgun out there.
I want one so fucking bad. Too bad I'll probably be eligible for an AARP card before that happens...
>wanting a plastic shotgun
>>32790977
I'd laugh at anyone who buys this, but let's not kid ourselves.
Meme-Tec will make like six of them over the course of five years, then go back to making shitty handguns.
>>32790977
load it with mexican minis from aguila
What does /k/ wear on their wrists?
>CA53W a best

>F-91W fags defending their purchase.
F-91W fag, it was $290 after shipping and FFL fee
Good evening, /k/! /pol/ reporting in. I just purchased two Spike's AR lowers. I have to build them out. I need some advice on tool kits. Are there any companies that sell complete tool kits? If so what do you recommend? I will be purchasing a complete upper. It's just the lower that I'll build out. Thank you.
>>32790388
Get an armorer's wrench for 20-30 bucks, a decent punch set (including roll pin punches,) a small bottle of locktite (don't bother staking the castle nut, just use locktite) and a hammer. Vise grips also work for putting in roll pins. After assembling your first lower, attached the upper, function check it and then kill yourself.
>>32790388
You shouldn't have even said you were from /pol/, now people are going to shit this thread up hard, which will ruin any legitimate discussion.
>>32790606
Thank you. Top tier bantz as well.
So I went into the gun store today and this older guy was a total bro and spent 30 minutes letting me try different guns and meanwhile he was cracking jokes, being personable and explaining in depth the difference between the handguns I was looking at, my needs, what to look for and doing some grip and fake fire tests to see what felt right for me and my budget. I settled on a springfield xd9 and had all my paperwork ready but the system was down. Now they couldnt get it up but meanwhile he took me to get a cleaning kit, some lubricants, some string, mat to clean on, ammo loader, eye and ear gear and said it would be everything i needed. is he trolling for commision or should I trust him since tommorow i have the appointment again since the system should be up for my transaction. I got the springfield for about 495 and told him my budget was 700 which is why he might be trying it.
Meh, you could have lived without all those extras besides the eyes, ears, and lube.
>>32790765
You're going to want most of that. It'll be cheaper online though. Might exclude the cleaning mat and mag loader, a towel and your thumb work just as well.
Ammo loader? Like for loading bullets into cases or loading rounds into a mag?
It's all proper stuff yea. If it were me I'd ditch the mat and just use an old towel but mats are nice.
Is this a really stupid idea for killing rats in this filthy room in my house?
>.22 crosman
>lights on
>bait is glob of peanut butter on book
>sitting 10 feet away
I have traps set as well, I just also wanna shoot one or two.
A good idea would be to clean your fucking room, and fix your shit. trailer trash.
Why don't you start by cleaning your fucking house you filthy nigger
>>32790364
You're a class A bubba, OP. Live the dream, you glorious washout.
How would you say the major gun manufacturers have progressed over the last 10 25 and 50 years? Who's gotten better? Who's gotten worse?
>sig: worse but theyve come back wonderfully since the MHS deal
>HK: overpriced,solid as fuck
>remington: KeKeKeK
>savage: taken off and soaring
>ruger: family mans gun; great product

Everything else=meme

Went off the deep end with their cuckhole locks in their revolvers. Quality has continually gone downhill since the 90s.
>HK
High cost, low benefit. Still doesn't know how to make a burger release.
>Sig

>Remington
