Those 6.4's were actually really decent budget red dots... in 2008. I had one on an old carry handle AR and one on an old WASR-2. They both held zero and they both survived many rides on the rough pastureland I'd take them through. The problem with them is that they're heavy as fuck and the lenses warp near the edges of the lense so your vision is distorted if you're not holding a good cheekweld.

The 6.4 UTG filled a niche in the budget tacticool community, but there are much better options these days.

i've got a UTG 4-9X32 on one of my ARs.
I thought it was okay for an inexpensive beginner scope to shoot at the range
helped me to learn some of the ins and outs of rifle scopes on ARs but definitely bottom line tier.
Now I have a better Idea how to choose my next scope when I'm ready to invest in some dollars in a quality optic

I use one on my carbine. I have large hands, so I like the larger grip purchase. I wouldn't use it on any other guns I own, since it's not the most intuitive design though. For that rifle though I do like it.
