Maybe you can't do better specifically for stabbing people, but that's not all you get a knife for. I'm not going to carry something around just for stabbing. I can't use that to cut wooden stakes, saw through cardboard and rope, and chop meat and potatoes.

And even in the context of fighting, it's not worth it. Sure, if you can actually get a good, solid stab in, it's better than a conventional knife, but it's not as good for most other slashing movements as a regular knife is.

I'd take a Fairbairn-Sykes any day
