What are the best youtube weapon channels?
I usually find myself find myself watching these:
Cap & Ball EU
Britishmuzzleloaders
C&Rsenal
Forgotten Weapons
InrangeTv
>>33054489
Damn, beat me to it. InRangeTV and Forgotten Weapons is god tier, otherwise, TFB TV, Yankee Marshal, James Yeager on occasion for the fighting information, and quite a few smaller channels dedicated to specific subjects.

Patrician taste.
I bought an HK P2000SK as my only gun about 7 months ago, and have been CCing since I got the permit. It was suggested to me on /k/ that my first firearm be something I could use both for home defense and CC. My father had taught me to shoot since I was like 7, and owns a handgun and a couple rifles of his own. So I'm not really that new to guns, just didn't have one of my own when I moved out.
Anyway, home invasions around here are becoming more frequent, even when people are at home. I'm starting to worry after being told that a subcompact 9mm is less than ideal for home defense, and for most people would be a last resort over other firearms. I can't really afford another gun right now, but was thinking of picking up either a cheaper benelli in the near future, or saving for a wasr for a few weeks.
What is everyone's consensus on this? Is a small 9mm with 11 round capacity enough for multiple home invaders? Should I bother getting another firearm, or is it not really necessary? It's not an emergency I get one obviously, but if I get my house broken into while I'm in it, I don't want to be in a firefight with a small cc gun with nothing to back me up but another mag.
How nice are those OP? I'm tempted to buy one

I love it, light weight, conceals like a dream, and shoots straight. It feels a bit "snappy" compared to a full sized 226, which is expected, so if it's your first time shooting a polymer subcompact pistol, you can expect a bit of snappy shooting. Because of this, I don't run +p, even when I carry. I just use 115gr gold dots.

Haven't seen a spoop thread in a long time. Post what you've got.
One of my favourites
What is the most /k/ movie in existence? My vote for goes Commando. It has it all, cool guns, Arnold and one-liners.
>>33044023
Blue Ruin
>Main character goes to his fat gun loving friend for help committing a revenge murder
>Friend is literally /k/ and uses a Mosin
>Shoots some fucker's face open after missing the first shot
>>33044023
>not Terminator
>>33044023
My vote goes for no country for old me
>dat 1897
>dives underwater to avoid getting shot
>that hammer action
All around great movie. Great plot too.
why would anybody choose a SCAR in 5.56 when M4s/M16s exist for cheaper? is a gas piston really better than the direct gas system in an M16 family rifle?
if the gas piston is more reliable than a dgi system, why didnt the military just make external piston upper receivers? the only advantage i can see a scar having over an m16/m4 is the folding buttstock
>>33042573
Yes.
/thread
>>33042573
Not really. They do better without lube, but it doesn't take much to keep a good AR up at peak performance.
Most ARs are lighter and more accurate than their piston counterparts with less recoil (depending on gas/barrel setup)

tavor is best
So why was it unsuccessful if it slaughtered competition in stoppage tests?
It fared poorly against enemy bait, lures, and flies.
So far the only thing I'm seeing is there was a anomaly inconsistency in one test. So US gov lost interest over one anomaly. Sounds like another case of the powers that be aren't willing to stop sucking colt's dick.
>>33057685
Because the standard required to replace the AR15 was "100% improvement". Which i don't think any small arm available today can meet. Hell even a hypothetical bug free K11 would fail by the criteria used to evaluate the XM8.
Why do the Russians still use an obsolete, 75+ year-old grenade?
>>33056958
Because it still kills people very effectively.
Why do the americans use a 49 year old grenade?
Why does everyone use obsolete 9mm and .45ACP?
>much hundred year old cartridge design
Do any exist? Did anyone get any actual video of the meetup other than the one webm of the trap that ruined the whole thing?

Post that webm plz

Here you go, Anon. Not sure if this is sa/k/uya or who it is but this is from the original thread.
So why was the Waffen SS needed? From what I read they were basically like the Wehrmacht, but more into committing war crimes. So at the end of the day you have guys who are redundant. Why not just have the Wehrmacht fight and have the Einsatzgruppen do all the mass killings of civilians. It all seems pretty unnecessary to me.
>>33055314
They allowed the Nazis to recruit foreigners without upsetting the Wehrmacht officers.
Waffen SS were intended to be elites. The Green Beret of the Wehrmacht in a sense when it comes to actual role. They grew to become the Marine Corps of the German Army as the war dragged on.

There are 7,500,000 of them in America.
The Remington 700 is defective and fires randomly without even pulling the trigger. People have died from it. The company admits nothing and have recalled nothing.
The 2nd amendment doesn't let the government recall guns like they would a stroller or a toy with lead in it.
How will the free market fix this?

>The 2nd amendment doesn't let the government recall guns like they would a stroller or a toy with lead in it.
those companies issue recalls
>>33054786
>remingtons sales tank more than even now when people find out of the OOB firing
>this gives remington incentive to unfuck the design and recall the rifles
winchester did it with their 1893/1897 shotguns.
they knew people were gonna put smokeless instead of black powder in the 93s and blew them up so they let owners of 93s trade them in for a free 97, and then destroyed the 93s.
wouldn't be surprised if it happened with these.
>People have died from being infront of a loaded rifle
That's their own fault
Free market fixes it by allowing customers to sue the company for damages and shit
A small round (a .22, for example) is going to stop someone in their tracks when you shoot them, right? So why have a larger gun, when a smaller one is more efficient and gets the job done? There's a lower fatality rate, and if they keep coming, you just shoot them again and again until they stop.

rimfire a shit.

>A small round (a .22, for example) is going to stop someone in their tracks when you shoot them, right
no, atleast not consistently
>>33054671
bigger gun clips = more ammo
bigger bullet = less shots needed (if you cant shoot the nigger in the head)
bigger gun = makes the bad guy's pants into brown jeans
i love 22, but if you shoot a crazed meth head 50 times in the belly he wont stop charging.
take a fukin class.

Not talking about end of the world basement full of alcohol for trading type shit. I'm talking about 30-60 days tops. What are your plans for surviving for 2 months tops if a natural disaster or large scale lawlessness interrupted services in your area?
