Yes, because if you can't use irons properly how the fuck do you expect your mongoloid ass to mount a scope?
>tfw fell for the irons meme
how am i supposed to squirrel hunt with irons
What is your favorite lesser known or weird gun that you love or like for no real good reason?
>>33056189
Pic related is a Mosin Nagant, before anyone asks. They were used by the militaries of the Russian empire and Soviet Union.
I personally like the SKS. Its a Chinese assault rifle.
>>33056848
how do you hold it?
So, this idea just popped into my head and I was wondering if anyone could maybe tell me how plausible this design would be as a wrist-mounted flamethrower?
>>33056071
Burned hand guaranteed
>>33056080
OP here, let's assume you can lengthen the stiff part past the hand. I have also noted that this design does not contain a pilot light, which would be an easy fix
>>33056071
i don't think you understand how flamethrowers work
1. where is the igniter or pilot?
2. where is the guard to prevent burns?
3. how are you ameliorating heat radiated from the projector?
4. how does the firing mechanism work to regulate flow of inert gas and fuel independently?
5. how does that wrist mount stay upright? wrists are flexible.
6. how is strain relief for the hose handled to prevent tearing?
7. what sort of safety mechanism exists to prevent spills or flameouts?
What weapons could have turn the Tide in the American Civil war if the Confederate Army equipped to its soldiers.

None. Southern people are dumb as fuck.

I have really had it with all my guns. Every single one of them has some fucking problem. My sks has a wobbly bayonet and the importer fucked up the receiver finish. My ak has a neutered bayo lug and the muzzle brake button is stuck and wont depress. My remington rand 1911 has a crossthreaded handgrip screw. My tokarev has a shitty aftermarket safety that is dam near unusable, and if i take it out there is a hole the size of texas in it. My mossberg 500 flex has a wobbly stock. My glock 21 is designed so fucking stupidly that i cant pull down those two fucking buttons to disassemble it. My security six's hammer pin is stuck so i cant disassemble it either. My pre 1960 model 1894 has stripped screws, pitting, and double feeds constantly. Most of my old guns either have lots of pitting or just don't work or both. Is it just me, or do you guys seem to never have a gun that has absolutely zero problems. It really gives me real bad anxiety. Also, is it just me or do you guys hate the way glocks disassemble. Gimme a 1911 or a beretta 92 and i can disassemble and reassemble in seconds, but those two fucking buttons on the glock are just impossible. Also general gun hate thread.

Mine are all fine. And I just buy whatever random crap the sporting goods store has. Maybe stop being so picky and internet-weirdo about your hobbies.
>>33055904
>buy shitty guns
>experience shitty problems
Pics of Sks receiver finish. Just bang on the muzzle brake pin with a punch.
Family annoyingly made me read an online article about some lady but i couldn't help but notice the rifle the lady held in the article's cover photo.
Does anyone know what gun this is?

Honestly, there are better guns out there for the price, and I can't honestly say that I'm surprised this one ended up in a third world hut.

Hey guys, I have around 50 bucks to spend and I was interested in making a crude DIY melee weapon. Intimidation factor is unnecessary, primarily concerned with effectiveness as this is going to used for home defense not to ward faggots off. All ideas appreciated.
>>33055526
>>33055560
I said DIY.
Penis is used after the assault and battery.
>>33055526
As far as effectiveness, a 12ga slam fire is honestly the most lethal thing you could make for $50.
I would make a nice spear.
Use this blade:

And this for a haft.

You'd have a very durable, nigh unbreakable spear that would ruin anyones day.

CZ are guns that I like and I've developed something of a fetish for them.
Are there any Czech made watches that are decent and for sale in the United States?
>>33055227
Found a new watch I have to track down now. Thanks.
>>33055458
Well if you figure out how let me know please.
>>33055665
Not the guy you're talking too, but figure out what? How to track down the watch you posted? It's literally in the file name.
Why haven't any PMC tried invading Somalia yet? Would it really be that hard?
PMCd are generally regarded as defensive organizations for the most part, even if a PMC or multiple invaded Somalia, it was pretty much ensure bankruptcy, since it would be seen as a violation of the legal constraints they abide by.
>>33055129
Why would they?
>>33055129
>Why haven't any PMC tried invading Somalia yet?
Because real life isn't the movies or videogames.
Hey fellas, is there something wrong with this bore? I've scrubbed the shit out of it and the patches are coming out spotless, but it still looks like this.
All my other handguns have smooth and shiny bores after cleaning them but they were all given to me, this is my first one I've bought on my own and I'm wondering why it looks like this. Do all new bores look like this after cleaning and they smooth out after shooting, or did I get a shitty barrel?
If it matters it's for a Desert Eagle 50ae

Oh and just for the record, the left picture is taken from the chamber side and the front is taken from the muzzle.
>>33055021
Is it used, is it old, how long between cleanings, do you live where it's humid, did you use any solvents?
