Some states say that it's legal to use recreational mj (ie Colorado), but how does firearm ownership work? You still have to fill out a form for your background check, and one of the questions asks if the buyer is a user of mj. You are in a violation of federal law, but in accordance with state law. If you say yes on the form, you fail the test and are denied your constitutional right, but if you lie, its a felony to lie on a federal form. Federal supremacy clause? What do?

Is there any specific legality concerning carrying around something that looks specifically designed to be a fist stabilizer for punching? I'd just like to interject for moment. What you're refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. for all you everyday carrying. especially in urban areas. wtf. what's the point. when was the last time you heard a news story of someone saving the day using a private handgun? all it is is a burden and a reason to get harassed by the police. that. or drunkenly shoot yourself or your family.
and even if you were say in a mall with an active shooter and you pulled your gun to save the day the police could legit shoot you not knowing that you werent the shooter.
why carry it around except to make a statement? the second you pull it out your going to court.

Being that I live in a country where getting a gun is a pointless bureaucratic exercise and everything worthwhile is banned, I think I'd like to get into Archery, which is for now still legal.
Is anyone here into traditional archery?
Is a 45-55lb recurve enough power to kill a man/deer?
What kind of arrows do I need to kill cleanly? Do I need broadheads? Why the fuck is arrow shaft selection so complicated, and why does nobody seem to sell complete arrows?
Will a combo/field point kill?

You can buy tri-bladed complete arrows on amazon and ebay for about £20 quid, got about 15 polymer/HDPE shafts with screw inserts in the tip, with both field points and broadheads. Theyre actually surprisingly good, fly well out of my bow (~50lb diamond bowtech recurve) and penetrate about 6-9 inches into a hard rubber target. Also got a bunch of metal softtipped training arrows for about the same price.
Im sure if youre some pro-snipes mcgee youll scoff, but they work perfectly well for me and ive been using them for a couple years now. Would show you a pic but Im already in bed and dont want to wake the doggos.
