I am a bit autist about that and I'd like to get iranian , iraqi , etc caps and clothes

IANAL but there is a federal law that prohibits states from levying charges against you if you are traveling from one state to another.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firearm_Owners_Protection_Act#.22Safe_Passage.22_provision

If what you have is legal in Michigan, you should be fine.

Same poster here, I'm mildly retarded and just automatically assumed OP would be driving from AL to MI.

No idea how it works if you plan on shipping or flying.

If you have handguns in the collection you'll have to go to your local PD/sheriff's office and register them. If you want to be legal I mean. Otherwise you're fine.

Sup /k/ikes? I just took this PSA I recently built to the range today. This is the first AR I've ever built/shot/owned and I have a few questions.

How important is it completely take down and clean the BCG after a single range visit? I'm used to cleaning AKs, and this seems like way more of a hassle.

Also, I bought a 100rnd box of federal 55grn fmj to take to the range. And about 3- 4 of the rounds wouldn't go off. Is it normal for newly built a PSA to have light primer strikes? or is it more likely that they were just hard primers?

I've bought bulk 100pks of 9mm and 7.62x39 before and I've never had this issue before. I'm not sure whether to feel iffy about the rifle or the ammo. But as it sits right now I don't really trust the rifle with my life. Plz halp.

Then, since militaries are big fashionistas, they steal all the good looking shit of the other armies to put on their own uniforms (and even the not so good looking shit when it belongs to a top dog, sometimes).

>Always use hollowpoints in your self-defense ammo
This is bad advice. Hollowpoints do increase impact area, but at the cost of greatly reducing penetration. I have seen x-rays of a hollowpoint bullet with perfect shot placement which nevertheless failed to kill the man because it stopped short of his heart. Had it been FMJ, he would have bleed to death in seconds. Ballistic gel simulations are optimistic at best, because gel doesn't have skin and bones. The best bullet shape for a fast kill at close range is a wadcutter. It punches a nice, big hole all the way through a man.

Which is why you don't try to translate one to one, and instead follow the FBI recommendation of twelve inches as the absolute minimum.

Penetration is only part of it. You also need to leave a large enough permanent wound cavity for the man to bleed out. Flesh is elastic and tends to close back up after a bullet has passed through it, but not with a wadcutter. A wadcutter crushes its way through.

Let's say I wanted to make a simple single-shot smoothbore shotgun. I know that the barrel needs heat treating to be strengthened and able to withstand the pressure, but that's all I know. How does one know when it's the right amount of heat treating and what else needs to be done? (besides the obvious)

How common are the magazines for this gun compared to glock magazines?

Also speaking of parts and replacements would this be a better gun to go for than the glock?
19 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>33114793

I have it in .40 so can't really speak to other cartridges but I generally can't find a magazine for under $50 before shipping. USP and P2000 mags are generally interchangeable if they are the same cartridge so that might also raise the price because it's a super proprietary magazine that fits two guns.

imo it's still a great firearm. I own one but still carry a glock 43 in 9mm because it's so compact compared to my USP.
>>
>>33114793
UNRELIABLE?
>>
I don't mean to derail this topic but what handguns that are good and not shit that actually are able to use glock magazines without the handgun being a glock itself?

Bug-in equipment...

In my country the local authorities have recently started informing the public about the need to be self-reliant and being able/equipped to care for yourself for at least 72 hours in the event of some natural disaster or other crises. The effects would be disruption of electricity, water utilites, logistics/transportation, food supply, central heating...

Ok, so anyway I've been going over what sort of materiel I need to manage ok where I currently live, which is an apartment in a mid-sized town. I figure I need this:

Water storage, containers
Field kitchen/stove
Portable radio
Candles
/g/ stuff: solar cell "mat", powerbank for charging up various electronics

I already have a food supply to last me for days, possibly even weeks.

Does /k/ have any ideas about more things that could be very useful for managing during a crisis?

Porno mags.

>>33114557
Add some buckets with lids to shit in and your list is good to go. Or stockpile a lot of water that you can use to flush your toilet with if your water service goes out, but water would be better used for drinking.
>>
>>33114569
Thanks, this is actually a really valid point. Hm, but how is a disaster-proof porno collection achieved...?

Just a few mags seems measly.

>>33114579
I'll think about this too. What are common terms for "shit buckets" so I can search the net and buy that?

Can special forces choose what weapons they use? What are the limitations?

If they could they'd all be using katanas.

Every unit has an armoury (like the rest of the military) that has a nice man with a pleasant demeanor and plenty of patience, who will issue you with anything you request that he has to hand. If he doesn't have it then and there, he'll efficiently process a simple form to have it delivered from an even nicer sort at a central HQ.

These weapons are, in turn, looked after well by the soldiers who sign them out and a healthy relationship between the two parties continues.

Everything you said was a lie

Hey guy's what if we took ants and biologically reengineered them and change their dna to allow the ants to grow into a size big enough to be changed cybernetic style by mounting 22lr machine guns on them then install a targeting computing system that would allow them to aim without miss and to boost their infrastructure so that their bodies can withstand the effects of continuous firing at the enemy?

It's hard to imagine such technology to be made but that is what was said about flying drones back then and today we got drones so this must be possible!

Don't you agree?
