Do you have Parkinson's, live in an earthquake prone area, or work in the back of an off road truck?

too thin and wispy for my tastes, not much to look at. Seems to resemble the kind of art I would see scrawled on a bathroom wall. Also, what happened to that poor girls right leg, is it connected to her abdomen?

It's shit
I'm just going to share these things that I think are cool and be gone
my first tries
I want to draw some political cartoons
any tips?
Also, any good books on drawing caricatures?

Funny how Horsey always manages to get reality completely backwards.
Also, I did a silly porn edit of a political cartoon a little over a week ago that's gotten 400k views after someone posted it on Reddit.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Draw with your foot if you want artificial difficulty so much.
was this supposed to be impressive?
excel has some drawing tools so its not like he was drawing with formulas
I'm an intermediate and I've improved a lot in the past few years but there is something that bothers me.
Every time I study I'm afraid of stagnating my improvement and it's really difficult to just keep drawing and stop thinking about it.
I think things like "what If I'm losing my time with this study?" "What If I could Improve much faster with other exercise that is not this and I'm just going to improve impossibly slow" "what If I don't improve at all?" "what if I never end up noticing things I should notice in studies?" "what if, what if"
I see some of my friends improving so much faster and I don't want to disappoint them either
I don't want to end up disappointing myself. mind you, I study every day since last year and I DO notice improvement. but the fear just won't go? is there something wrong with me?
>>2681306
Just fucking study and stop being an emo little bitch, honestly.
>>2681310
why are you so angry? I'm not emo or anything, just wanted to know if anyone could relate and give advice. jesus, you are really bitter
>>2681306
it would help if you post your work and show what do you mean by improvement.
Tell me how much it sucks
Well, you're drawing a meme so there's not really any sorta quality control for those kinds of things.
Independent of context, I think it's cute.
>>2688133
what is the emotion? a meme like this needs at least to produce a coherent emotion.
I'm getting a "pepe has indigestion" vibe from it, not worth much outside the context of something.
also your color gradients are a mess
It's nice and loose.
what is the general taste of /ic. Pretty much everything I see posted on here that isn't super detailed, or just generally realistic is frowned upon unless the artist who drew it has a good following.
>>2688355
It's mostly a mix of 19th century academic art, and contemporary digital fantasy illustration, but there are different cliques within /ic/, for example there's a small group that idolizes japanese animators, a group that idolizes chinese digital painters etc.
>>2688366
You're right. I hate it when i see good artists with an alternative style get bashed on here though.
>>2688375
Well /ic/ isn't one person. For every artist that is posted here there will be a handful of people that like it, and a handful that dislike it. Maybe the proportions are a bit shifted depending on what it is, but I don't think /ic/ is ever entirely homogeneous in its taste.
I've been having problems trying to paint strange/unsettling pictures in Paint Tool Sai.
I'm trying to accomplish one of those drawings that have the figure mostly in total darkness, but you can see some features peak out.
How do I go about executing this properly? Is it the brush type? Color usage? How do I pick to the right aspects of this figure and make them poke out to create a unsettling piece?
Pic maybe related, I couldn't find an painting that illustrated what I was trying to do.
>>2688616
Usually high contrast and lost edges. You need good control of your values.
Do some 2 or 3 value tonal composition studies of pieces you think fit the atmosphere you're going for.
How big is your online ecosystem?
Is it better to have sites everywhere and update them rarely, or one or two sites you keep up to date?
It's really best to have two main sites. More is better, but it'll heavily kill your time unless you care that much about marketing yourself.
>twitch
Wot?
>>2683107
They have a Creative section for livestreaming art, yo.

this is awful. please consider killing yourself
how did you end up here ?

What are some of your personal favorite bones, muscles and general anatomical landmarks to look out for while drawing?
>>2682841
Forearms especially near the elbow are objectively the best. The way the supinators create that little hollow by the elbow when the arm is straightened...hhhnnngghhhh.
Serratus muscles are a second though as they look really nice the way they fan out.
I wouldn't call it a fetish but I love simplifying arms and legs
Capturing the flow of the muscles with just the right amount of lines is pretty neat
Back of women's neck, knees.
I want the face, hair, and the circles on her chest and hand to be brighter and the focus of the picture and everything else darker. Any ideas how I would make it look nice? Also should I use teal and black or purple and black?
this is some sort of transcended ruse thread
>rotated
I would like to have more art friends so I'm looking for an art group on Discord. (Not the /ic/ Discord group from the sticky and not Unmotivated Losers.)
>more art friends
>but not meme
>and DEFINITELY not /ic/'s discord
Get out.
>>2683628
Hey, thanks for bumping my thread, man. Appreciate it.
>>2683623
the ic discord is quite nice actually
