How big is your online ecosystem?
Is it better to have sites everywhere and update them rarely, or one or two sites you keep up to date?
It's really best to have two main sites. More is better, but it'll heavily kill your time unless you care that much about marketing yourself.

Wot?

They have a Creative section for livestreaming art, yo.

How many times have you seen something that barely ever gets updates reach any kind of popularity? Prioritize a couple like >>2683103
said.
Though you could always just copy+paste updates on the bulk of social media that's just text+image/link, e.g. Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, DA, whatever else. I've been wondering how effective that'd be.

There's actually a site that automates that for you. You choose which platforms you want and then when you update it automatically posts to all of them. I forget what it's called though. Maybe another anon or some googling could bring it up.

Weird, I never noticed that
Doesn't look like they get many viewers though
>>2683162
Viewers are relative in that section. Anything above 100 is a lot. Maybe even 50.

If you're a girl you get tons of attention just for existing.
It's part of why I stopped bothering. No one cared about what was being made and were just trying to get attention.
Also, the excessive "paint happy trees".

"i dont get much attention. must be because im not a girl."
see nigger thats your problem
there are plenty of successful male artists, they didnt make shitty excuses. get to work and stop whining.

I post art on 4 different sites and in hindsight I kinds regret it... should have just gotten 2, 3 at the absolute max! It ends up getting a bit exhausting when you start getting even vaguely "popular", but I can't get my self to delete any of my accounts since now every one of them has a decent batch of followers. So I've started not posting everything everywhere to take some stress off my back, but it's not ideal either, off course. I'd strongly recommend not posting art on too many sites, unless you're pretty hyper-active and know you can keep it up.

Whut?! I don't think I've gotten more attention because I'm a womyn! Then again, I don't post selfies and ramble too much about girl-stuff... or draw very cute shit, I mostly do kinda manly porn. could be that my audience is different because of that and don't give a flying f*ck.
>>2684774
True... I'm pretty much "past expiration date"

Please refrain from typing like that, it's triggering me softly

Not on Picarto/Twitch where being a whore gets you further than being skilled
>>2688374
>implying you're good enough to get attention in the first place or even tried
Isn't it easy to blame your failure on the success of others? Have fun whining and getting nowhere in life.
Same to anyone else with this mentality.
>>2683094
My biggest fear is not being able to make a living.
I'd do any niche or focus on any income as long as it meant I could pay the bills and support my family, even if it was borderline minimum wage annually.

What I'm getting is projecting, denial, and general bluepillory.
Have you never heard the term "Twitch Whore" before or do you just happen to be one?
