I always prefer the green version.
Who said chubby?

I bet you use an open source browser
If you use closed source software you're a cuckold.

How can Microsoft save Windows OS?
>>58047985
Make Win9
By giving it an honorable death and killing it now instead of making it worse and worse than it already was as it slowly fades into oblivion.
At physical tasks?
Is their anyone here who's in the robotics industry?
>>58047863
*There
Probably not for another 10-15 years if based only on menial labor. They likely wont be designed in a humanoid fashion though.

we aren't that close at all for really complicated stuff
>Have a few tabs open
>Firefox is utilizing 1.1GB of RAM
Why is this allowed?
>>58047845
Because you're dumb enough to use firefox
>>58047845
Close all but 1 and make it a blank tab.
You'll realize that its not the tabs. Stop being a retard. Its a memory leak. Firefox has had memory leaks since forever.
>>58047845
What's the point of having RAM if it doesn't get used????

seriously, why aren't you using SemiCode OS — New Linux Distro For Programmers And Web Developers?
>SemiCode OS comes preinstalled with an array of IDEs, compilers, text editors, etc. to help you get back to work in no time. It offers Eclipse, MonoDevelop, BlueFish, Atom, Ninja IDE, Brackets, Emacs, and Sublime Text, according to our friends at It’s F.O.S.S. You also get preinstalled and preconfigured LAMP stack.
>Talking about the compilers, you get Ruby compiler, .NET with Mono Runtime, OpenJDK for Java. To make your code management and communication job easier, it ships with Git and Slack desktop clients.
>Sarah is an original SemiCode OS package that acts like a virtual assistant integrated with your familiar Linux Terminal. Just like Siri, you can call her in Terminal and ask few questions to get their reply. You can get the information about a movie, get song lyrics, download any file or YouTube video, get a weather forecast, etc.
*bump*
>spoonfeeding developers
this will surely remove the cancer of pajeets and worthless cs grads in our industry

>not using hardened gentoo
Only retards need every IDE ever bundled in a distribution
Tell me one single thing Vim cannot do (Apart from compiling, it's a text editor after all)
> Install Atom Editor
> Yay so beautiful
> Install two plugins
> My OS suddenly crashes
> "????"
> Login again
> Open atom
> Install Zeal Extension
> My OS crashes again
> "FUCK ATOM"
> Remove
> Install Sublime
> Fast and without bullshit.
Atom is garbage
Atom is shit, my experience is like
>Get sick of vim for something minor
>Try atom
>This is nice
>Atom gets an update which breaks every plugin, especially vim mode
>Atom is broken for a while and I go back to vim
>>58047578
>a fucking Chromium browser

Help me /g/, I havent updated my windows 7 in a long time, but now that I'm trying to it's been stuck at 0% completed for hours
What do I do?
You have a virus caused by being technologically illiterate.
You need to reinstall windows, and learn your lesson that not updating is a fool's gambit.
search for "windows update slow" or some shit. installing the rollup should fix it.

Hey /g/ I need your advice.
I am a Linux desktop user and in the past when I've wanted to game wine has suited me fine. Lately I've found myself wanting to game more and wine isn't cutting it for the newer titles. Which version of Windows should I dual boot? I want something that is minimal, secure and something that doesn't siphon my data to Microsoft (telemetry tracking etc.).
tl;dr which Windows version should I install to play games?
Windows Gentoo Edition
>>58047531
I know kids on this fucking inane board for taiwanese tapestry is going to post memes to this reply, but seriously, just install the latest version of Windows as it's probably going to see most of the most recent releases and get the latest GPU drivers etc the fastest.
>>58047566
OP here, I was debating it though I've read that DirectX performs better on Win7. My concern with Win7 is that security will be ending in 2020.

Silicon microchips. I understand about electricity, and I understand logic gates etc., but every explanation of microchips sounds like they're magical. I honestly believe that they're alien in origin.
I barely understand how plane works, this thing is beyond math - it just works.
Any free resources that will help me prepare to take the A+ 901-902?. I literally can't afford to fail this test and everywhere I look online all these shady sites are asking for a fuckton of money for thier prep materials.
Any help would be awesome.
