Any free resources that will help me prepare to take the A+ 901-902?. I literally can't afford to fail this test and everywhere I look online all these shady sites are asking for a fuckton of money for thier prep materials.

Any help would be awesome.

Just prep the bull dude, it's free!

Professor messer

He has tons of free stuff that is accessible. The webdesign is a bit stupid so you have to scroll and see the whole webpage before you find stuff. But the free videos, free workshops and free pdfs are great.

There are free videos, free practice tests, free course notes, pop quizes and everything.

Here are the videos http://www.professormesser.com/free-a-plus-training/220-901/comptia-220-900-course/

Does it cover the new test? Most materials I see cover the old 801/802 test. Most of them don't cover the new versions of the test.

arent the hardest parts subnetting and command line stuff?

Basically. I don't know why they are in the a+ and not the network+...
>>
I keep hearing about these VCE'S that are supposed to be almost 1:1 with the test. Basically it would come down to a memorization game at that point. Any body hear of those?

The practice questions here were pretty close to what's on the test. Also, you could just get a PDF off a study guide of Corsair's Cove.

They exist and are accurate, but the A+ is so basic and easy you really shouldn't feel the need to cheat unless time is a factor or passing is the difference between eating or going hungry,
>>
Lol, I passed the A+/Net+ exams. Way back in 2002/2003. Glad that mine are valid for life so I don't gotta go thru all this studying/$$ bs again.

you sound like you got your certs already. should i take both test at once or should i take one and then study for the other before taking it.
