I used solo learn to learn c++ before doing a games programming course at university... For the first two terms everything I learnt, coding wise, I'd already covered on sololearn... So yes it's good for understanding the syntax of a language and basic programming logic.

For physical media, yes, it simply arrived too soon after regular blu-ray, but 4k streaming is only taking off as 4k displays start gaining market penetration. Who knows, maybe enough market penetration for 4k displays will create a market for 4k blu-ray?

Don't think I've had a single device with an VGA output (except DVI-i whicvh includes an analog signal, but then you might aswell use DVI's sigital output).. Today everything comes with HDMI or mini-DP? And in some rare cases DIV?

Also I use 8.1 every day at work, it's fine. I usually forget that I'm not running 10 unless I go to the start menu
