Usually the torrent files include a key that identifies the user who downloaded it. I'm not sure how magnet links work, or if they even do, obviously you're not going to be able to authenticate to the tracker without a valid key, and you're not going to be able to get much through DHT since all the private tracker people will have their torrents set to private.

Though I guess you may be able to download the same content if it was mirrored on a public tracker at some point.

I'm seeding about 100 books and I get a 0-5 MB a week.

The point of Bib is to be a place for people with lots of buffer to get their Overdrive requests filled by buffer-desperate new users. Don't let that discourage you from joining though, once you're sitting on a comfy buffer it's great.

Tip: the queue doesn't _really_ matter. just !q as often as possible whenever you're online to signal to moderators that you're online. They care more about helping online people than waiting for the first guy in line to come back.
