Is there a simple glue for glass-glass that I can remove with force, without excessive heat, or with alcohol / or any other trick?
I thought I could apply a very thin layer of glue around the very edge of the phone to keep the protector in place. Because it just comes off after some time - given that the adhesive they come with is just too weak.
I had a good protector that fit perfectly and had good adhesive, but don't know where I ordered it from. IIRC it was also very expensive.

Hey, I'm gonna try this again... Does anybody use the B-Method or Z-Method for specification?
I've been working with Atelier B for this thing I'm doing that none of you need to know about. It ain't exactly the Hong Kong subway (which Atelier B was used to model), but I want the specification to be solid enough to make sure that this shit doesn't crash at all any time in the next several years. I really don't want to get into specifics other than it's a distributed, integrated project to set up a server network that can be physically hidden from any government.
B-Language doesn't seem that different from Coq and I implemented homotopy in it pretty quickly. But I feel like I'm going overkill on this and could do it in something like Agda or Idris.
Have any of you used Atelier B to do anything??? I'm kind of at a struggle to find anyone who has used this software other than corporate french fucks that don't want to have anything to do with my shit.
God damn I've been posting variations of this for the past two days and I can't get a single response
Nobody's even fucked with this shit? It's free.
You fucking niggers come on

Need a little help here,
I'm using a Laptop with Intel integrated graphics and a GTX 950M, which only activates when playing games. Would it fuck my shit up if I don't install non-frew drivers for that on for example Debian or Fedora? Would the operating system detect it and go nuts at some point?
>>58058416
Why wouldn't you install the proper drivers got your hardware you fucking idiot?
>>58058434
I don't use the nVidia GPU. Literally. Buying a Laptop with a dedicated GPU was a mistake.
>>58058434
OP here again,
Why should I install drivers for never used hardware? That's exactly where my question arises: Will not installing the driver for my hardly ever used secondary GPU fuck the OS up?
>waiting for AV1 GPU decode support
>H.265 and VP9 will be totally deprecated when AV1 is released next year
>>58058304
For the CPU line. Krabby Lake just shot themselves for selling 10-bit hardware support in their chip. They should've done it for Skylake. Now Krabby Lake is obsolte when it hit the shelves
isn't av1 just meant to be best compression not greatest amount of quality since it's being funded and charged by streaming services/youtube and shit?
>>58059038
Compression and quality are the same thing

How the fuck do people use this extension?
Does every single person using it spend hours upon hours configuring it to not fuck up their favorite sites?
So, is OP really ignorant or is this another thinly veiled uBlock/uMatrix shill thread?
>>58057908
>hours upon hours
No, you fucking moron.
Delete everything in the whitelist, and allow websites as you go when you need to.
>>58057908
I would recommend uMatrix instead.
Much easier with the point-and-click interface.
It's usually easier to understand which domain you need to unblock in order to "unbreak" a site too because it shows what type of connections they were trying to make and how many.
With NoScript you often just have to blindly allow shit at random until the site works, which completely defeats the purpose of it.

Is this the future for programming? Can it actually be that Mozilla has done something good again for the first time in 20 years?
>>58057734
Firefox is great tho, and their libre browser is TOR's upstream.
We had a thread about Rust some time ago, which pretty much summed it up: it's fast, secure, cargo is nice, it makes low-level development finally accessible and that's great. There are people who aim at doing a kernel in Rust, or who aim at contributing to the Linux kernel in Rust.
There has been a debate on whether C would still be the only way to properly do low-level development or not, to which I don't have an answer.
It's not recommended for enterprise embedded software development AFAIK, Go or Java would be preferred over that.
Firefox will be good again once they merge most of the functionality from servo.
>>58057734
I've messed around with Rust a little bit.
It's kind of nice, but there are a few things which are a real pain in the ass, with the main one being the ownership system.
It just gets in the way most of the time, and you have to try and wrangle it into doing what you want.
Also, as for being a C replacement, I don't think Rust has what it takes.
