When I'm deadlifting the first rep feels the heaviest and like a struggle, almost losing my form but after I lift off the weigh and do the next reps without losing the tension and just let the weights touch the floor (not bouncing) lifting the weight is easy as fuck, but if I do single reps something feels very off.
What am I most likely doing wrong or is this normal? Should I deload and start doing "singles" for 5 reps?

For reference I do sumo deadlifts, conventional dl feels very off to me almost like if I'd be ATG squatting the weight.

Hey, /fit/. I've been bulking for the past 8 years. /fat/ here. Wanting to get healthy. inb4 newsyearresolution.jpg

6'0, 295 pounds. Core/back/non-leg muscles have atrophied. Cardio endurance is non-existent. Shit posture.

I've been maintaining a caloric deficit easily enough, surprisingly, but have been hesitant to start exercise. At the risk of sounding like I'm making excuses, I'm worried about injury.

be aware impact cardio is going to be hard on your knees. Recommend rowing, elliptical, swimming etc.

Be aware your motivation will drop. The trick is to force yourself to workout even when you don't want to. There are NO excuses. None.

Is McDonalds unhealthy? I'm losing weight and I've totally given up on eating a "healthy" diet, it's too time consuming, expensive and restrictive. I just eat whatever and control the portion size, I've lost 10 kg so far. However some say I will die early due to eating a quarter pounder meal twice a week. I will die at 50. Is this true? If it's not true then government advice has a hand in the obesity crisis for rather than just throwing out the simple advice of "just eat less" they insist on complete radical changes in diet that hardly anyone is going to realistically stick to.
