I suspect myself of suffering from some tracking disorder of the kneecap, due to my hamstrings being too short, causing the caps to touch bones, causing pain.
I've started stretching every day. I want to squat with SSSL eventually.
I deadlifted a person some weeks ago and fucked my knees a little bit, felt discomfort ever since. Squat sessions also fuck my shit up, so, lately, I just wait until they get better, and I do hamstring stretches.
Any knee stories to relate? Any advice? Questions? Comments?
Will I ever get solid knees that don't hurt? Will I some day even be able to run without pain?
Is static stretching good or bad? I heard of microtears, but static stretches are what were recommended to me to get them hamstrings longer so my knees can function normally.

Is HIIT legit? I'm looking for some cardio that I can do at home in the winter months because it is too cold/icy to run and the only cardio equipment I have is an exercise bike, which doesn't really get my heart rate up that much. I'm lifting 3x a week, but I'm about 20 lbs overweight and I'm trying to get into a decent caloric deficit without starving myself.
It is. Since I started doing lift, I've burnt fat and it has had a positive effect on my lifts too. It's also damn good exercise for calves. I recover so much quicker after sets nowadays than before. It's also a great feeling when you can run fast.

I used to walk on an incline but recent switched to HIIT on a stationary bike

Then rest 90 seconds with the bike on 5 resistance staying above 90 rpm
When you do the "sprints" make sure you get your ass off the seat and go all out

Hey guys and gals, I've joined powerlifting about 2 months ago and was seeing great results and good weight and muscle gain but now I've kinda plateaud. I've always been on the smaller side so I weigh about 123lbs on a bad day and my bench was 140lbs. I noticed I was getting a bit of a gut (since I'm kinda short) so I stopped eating a lot of fatty foods (fried chicken and other fast foods) and have been trying to eat clean. And recently my bench (not other lifts) has gone down, as in I'm struggling to do 135lbs x 2. Now I read that bench is a lift that is somewhat proportionate to bodyweight. I would just like to know what is going on, any help would be nice. inb4 "you're skinny as fuck and my leg weighs as much as you do" I eat a lot guys, its just very hard to put on weight for me
