I am in desperate need to lose bodyfat.
I've been lifting for 4 years now and I am currently like 25% bodyfat.
I am thinking of just going the starvation route and just eating minimal amounts of food, instead of trying to min-max my macros like an autist.
Honestly, if I am not tracking macros and not tracking calories, but just severely under-eating while still lifting......how much muscle would I seriously lose? It wouldn't be THAT much would it?
The only reason I ask this is because last time I tried to cut it took me like 5 months to drop like 15 pounds, it was taking too long I just gave the fuck up. I want to lose like 35 pounds in 2-3 months.

I was tracking macros/calories to the last gram when I was eating a "small" deficit" in order to maintain as much gains as possible. That was 5 months of cutting for only 15 pounds.
Hence why I don't want to do that shit again, it's way to fucking slow.

Just eat less. I'm new to 4chan, but why is everyone making dieting and lifting so hard? Just do whatever gets you results, or buy a food scale for $20 and weigh your food.

/Fit/, what bodyfat percentage should I bulk and cut between?
I'm currently 20.6 bodyfat %, and it's pretty hot where I am (middle of summer) so I'm planning to do a 3 month cut. It works out pretty well since I'm at uni, and only have time to lift thrice a week for the moment. Plus, since it's summer, I'm sweating like fuck, and I'm guessing that that wouldn't happen if I wasn't so close to fatfuck territory.
Anyway, I've heard some people on /fit/ and bodybuilding quoting something like "bulk when you hit 12% bodyfat, and cut when you hit 15%" or something along those lines. I was wondering if there is any truth to that?
Anyway, /fit/, I guess I need to know at what bodyfat% I should cut, and at what bodyfat% I should bulk. I think Lyle Mcdonald has done some sort of article on this, but I can't seem to find it.
Anyway, please help /fit/. I recalculated my TDEE, weight and bf% today, and I'm trying to work out a plan of action.

Drink a coffee, and if in 20 minutes, you still don't think you have the energy to go, then don't go. Skipping a workout isn't always a bad thing-- especially when you're exhausted-- as long as it doesn't become a habit.

Eating below my TDEE.
I IF. So I eat between 2pm-7pm. I always hit my macros. But jesus. For the life of me, my body can't distinguish whether I'm full or starving right after eating.
I used to eat constantly, and I wouldn't stop until I felt sick to my stomach. So maybe my body is trying to tell me to continue eating because of my old fatty ways?
But after eating it just feels like I'm starving, even though I know I'm full and satisfied.
Do you guys have any tips? I've tried adding more protein/fiber and it doesn't help.
