Hello GODS of /fit. I come seeking advice and also you opinions. Basiclly my older brother has been dating this girl who is 2 years younger then me for a few months now. I dont see her alot but when i do she always makes it a point to talk to me. She has tried to sit by me a few times when im watching tv and when they spent the night over before. She went up to bed with my brother. I was the only one downstairs mind you. And she walked downstairs in her underwear to get a glass of water. She has been asking me about getting a girlfriend alot latley also which i find strange. Anyway to my thoughts. Im not intrested in her i think shes annoying and i might just be crazy thinking she wants me idk maybe im reading it wrong. Btw she is into strong guys and weight lifters. It just so happens that im a decent amount bigger and /fit/ter than my bro. If you were able to read this shit i speed typed on my phone let me know what you think. Drunks of /fit/, what is the best soft drink to mix with liquor calorie-wise? Or should I just add parts of water to it?

Don't want to drink it straight because I always drink large volumes and would end up way too drunk.

So /fit/ whats your excuse for not being a wristlet?

Do you think you know more than Rich piana who said small joints and big muscles are the best case fucking scenario?

Even Arnold had small wrists and praises them heavily in having an amazing physique.

Plus it makes my biceps and forearms look juicy as fuck without much effort.

I look thick as fuck in clothes and have left dyel mode far behind. And yes I use wrist wraps. Who gives a fuck.

I've noticed this also, my smaller wrists make my shoulders look bigger and it adds to the v taper look, my hands aren't that big either so it looks normal and the wrists aren't bitch enough to hurt when benching etc like I've seen some guys have.

Only downside is not having naturally big forearms which doing manual labour and reverse curls solved

have small hands and small wrists to go with. Just makes my arms look bigger in comparision so it's pretty good. Actual wrist strength is great though from years of pressups and hammer curls.

Concussion thread?

I've had three and after this most recent knock on the noggin I think I'm going to make some changes to my sports activities. It was by far the mildest shock of the three I've had but I'm having a bunch of problems at one week post-incident.

>neck problems
>sleeping a ton
>tinnitus wont' improve
>feels like i"m wearing a hat at all times
>might have some nerve damage on my face, feels as though someone is pressing on my cheek

I've also noticed how rare concussoins are. I've asked around and almost none of my bros have had one, and I've had fucking three.

You guys ever get your clock cleaned?

Took a full sprint knee to the middle of nose while playing rugby, I could only see green for a few minutes after (like I had some sort of colour filter over my eyes) and then it passed. I also took a cricket ball to the back of the head which briefly knocked me out but no side noticeable side effects for that. Other than the weird brief colour change thing I haven't noticed anything wrong

Marshall White, 6’3” 320 pounds

He also competes as an Olympic Style weightlifter and Powerlifter.

Has a DL with straps over 900, and regularly logs over 400.

One of the best strength coaches around as well.

Marshall is the UNDERTAKER in strength. Quite literally, outside of strength athletics, he is actually a Mortician by trade.

Can strongman stuff fit into, or even replace some of the regular gym stuff when it gets boring?

Like could I get a log bar and use it to replace standard bar OHP work, and still keep all my shoulder strength?

Could I cut down on total squat work or even eliminate them if 2 or 3x a week I pull my pick back and forth across a parking lot for a half hour?

Again, this isn't for a competitive athlete or a strongman who actually competes, but just a regular trains for cosmetics+health+strength kinda guy?

I bulked up to 210lbs. I'm 6'1. My lifts are 1/2/3/4 and steadily going up. What will happen if I just eat around maintenance and keep progressively overloading for a year?

It is extremely common and usually not diagnosed in people. Meaning you could have it right now. Millions of Americans have this without realizing it.

I was one of the victims of this.

When I got my sleep study done the results were ridiculous. I got 30% of my sleep as the shallow sleep that doesn't restore very much. It should be 5 %. My crucial deep restorative sleep stage was practically non existent. I stopped breathing dozens of times throughout the night. I was getting brain damage from having months of this going on.

This means that if I had not had this discovered it didn't matter how much I exercised. It didn't matter how healthy I was eating. That is enough to keep you socially awkward and have trouble starting relationships and have trouble maintaining motivation for goals because you feel like garbage from not sleeping well for months.

If you are feeling like you're lacking in energy or feel drowsy all the time, see if you match up with the symptoms of sleep apnea. A sleep study is something you should consider if other things aren't making you feel better.

The sleep study you need to go through is easy to set up so don't hesitate to try if you think you might have it.
