Rich Piana always does slow, concentrated 30 rep sets and contracts the muscle while doing it.

I tried it and got some serious burn / pump.

Is this actually a good way to build muscle? I can't see why it wouldn't work for natural lifters. It's a shit load of volume.

I feel bloated most of the time, have awful-smelling farts, and have hard/ass-irritating shit (with occasional undigested chunks)

What could this be causes by and how do I stop it? I eat plenty of fiber a day (~50g) and maintain a good diet, albeit high on oats, whole grains, nuts, and milk. Please help, I'm tired of this shit

I can, but given my food choices, that'll actually prove a little hard. I don't soak oats, just stick em in the microwave for a minute, and I shouldn't be lactose-intolerant - been drinking all my life without any problems

Do you have Starrets "ready to run"? You need to read that before you start running in minimalist shoes, there is more to it than just putting them on and cranking out a 10K. You have to ease into minimalist running slowly, the muscles in your feet have atrophied due to modern shoe design.

paleo is... sortof stupid, but it is a very, very good diet for you. I recommend it to anyone, but ypu should include oats if you lift (which are forbidden since "hur durr cavemen didn't eat oats you dummy!")

I wish people would stop associating Losing weight = Going to the gym. Going to the gym is never a bad idea, but the most important part of losing weight is adjusting your diet. That costs literally negative money. Just eat less—there is no magic involved.

I've been taking a mass gainer for two months now and I actually haven't got any bigger. Not even a 1kg?

I had two friends who took mass gainer and they're pretty big. They use a different brand but I'm pretty sure they're all the same.

So should I switch brands or just continue? Or do they just not work altogether?

What are some ways of minimising hunger /fit/? I'm trying to lose weight (85kg) and my hunger pangs are really chipping at my willpower.
