You guys I need some help here. I was making my protein shake after lifting just now and I usually mix my creatine in with it. Well I was distracted and put 3 scoops into my drink. I didn't realize until after I drank it all. On the bottle it says only take one scoop a day. There's a serious warning about taking too much. I'm usually never this careless. fuck
What should I do guys? Do I induce vomiting or just go to the hospital? I don't want to OD.

what is the best way to get rid of chicken skin under my arms (all over my triceps basically)
do i need to scrub them more? i shower every day but i hardly exfoliate.
will scrubbing them help get rid of them or do you guys know the secret method of getting rid of this shit?
thanks.
>>37832292
Exfoliate then rub some almond oil then coat with moisturizer
>>37832292
cry then use expensive creams that don't do anything
>>37832292
Mine was quite bad when I was a kid/teenager but it faded a lot when I got into my twenties (25 now).
I still have some, I combat it by making sure I get tanned and moisturise a lot. My mother had it and said it disappeared after her first pregnancy.
Got a free olympic dumbbell today but it doesn't have any collars. Does /fit/ have any recommendations on what would be best so I don't accidentally crush my toes?
>>37832087
Get collars.
>>37832087
Like one dumbell?
>>37832087
clamp pipe wrenches to the sides of the bar
I have a shoulder imbalance, my left is significantly weaker than my right.
I can do 10 reps with 40 lbs on seated dumbbell shoulder press with my right arm, but I can barely do 4 or 5 with my left.
I was trying to think of what could have caused this, because my left and right biceps and triceps are about the same strength level.
Could it be because I played baseball from elementary school until 12th grade? I was a pitcher at different times, and I know that doing rotator cuff exercises can help strengthen your throwing arm. This is the only thing that I can think of that could really have caused this imbalance, except of course for jerking off. I'm right handed.
I also notice that my left shoulder weakness causes an imbalance during bench press.
Would the best way to fix this just be to focus only on my left shoulder during shoulder days for a while? Are there any specific shoulder exercises that I can do that work the entire shoulder?
change weight to what your left can handle, then do all of your exercises left first, and only do as many reps with your right that you can with your left.

What is an actual good resource for lifting information that isn't just broscience/memes/trying to sell stuff to teenagers?
>>37831954
sticky. you fucking retard.
>>37831963
The sticky is just the basics. I've been lifting for a few years
Ideas?
Hey /fit/ I'm drawing a comic
The comic is based off of /fit/ culture beginning with a weak dyel who meets a professional yet spergy powerlifter with a goal to become the strongest man in the universe. Together they engage in adventures like fighting gains goblins and defeating roided enemies like scooby and rich Pannini with a barbel that Louie uses as a sort of club. (Kind of like the /fit/ version of flcl)
It is satire of course but is supposed to be a light hearted comedy where 4chan as a whole is represented in it but with a much larger emphasis on /fit/
Thoughts? Ideas?

>>>/reddit/
>>37831950
Make sure that they have a love affair with the barbell.
>>37831950
A) I hate the storyline but not the concept
B) Scooby would be a wise sage guiding you and Rich would be a blacksmith or butcher
C) Women should only be roided cheekie-types or hightest
D) Estus protein shakes
E) Pls don't suck
F) Pls don't try and be SiR
Wtf do I do /fit/? I want to make a shake but this icy nan is still frozen and I can't get peel off. Should I just blend it with the peel?
>>37831829
yes. peel is where the fibre is.
>>37831829
If you want
The peel is edible too
Btw you're supposed to freeze them already peeled you doofus
melt it between your buttcheeks, unless you're a fucking pussy
>tfw benched last week
>felt good hitting new PR of 150lbs for reps
>bench today
>arms feel weird, especially around shoulders
>hard to lift 135lbs for warmup set
>failed at 155lbs
does anyone else get this? where you feel like you've gone back a few steps?
>>37831731
You strength varies from day to day. You might not have gotten enough sleep, or ate enough, or drank enough water, etc. Just try again after resting.
>>37831731
Assuming you have not been lifting for very long, you need to find the right amount of time in between heavy sessions in order for your body to fully recover enough to hit the weight you want to hit. This amount of time varies from person to person, sometimes I take 1-3 weeks light to recover from a heavy squat or deadlift session. 135 doesn't sound like much but it is 87% of 155. Depending on your program you might want to bench lighter for up to 3 weeks after hitting a PR. If you take it too heavy too often, and don't allow your body time to recover, you will regress and loose gains overall. Also lack of sleep/food can contribute to feeling weak.

I get this sharp achey feeling on the inside of my upper arm near my arm pit. idk what it is, usually feel it after bench also
Do you have a fitness or health related job?
Tell us about it!
How you got it, how much you make, and the pros and cons of the field.
Health education specialist reporting.
>How you got it
I actually started out as an EMT-B, then got my EMT-P and started working in the ER at a university hospital as a tech.
Since I was working 12 hour shifts, I worked on weekends and went to school full time during the week. Since I was also a full time employee of the university, half my classes were paid for. Pretty sweet gig.
Anyway, I got my BS in health promotion and took the CHES (certified health education specialist) exam. I have a few other minor certifications on top of it (certified diabetes educator, certified weight management coach, certified addiction treatment counselor, etc.) that my employer paid for over the years.
To make a long story short, I see patients whose shitty lifestyles got them put in the hospital, and educate them on how to not fuck their body up anymore and get back to normal.

>Do you have a fitness or health related job?
No, because I am intelligent and like to earn high amounts of money.

What do you do after you made it?
What should I do after I reach my goal physique?
Do you continue bulking and cutting?
Do you just enter maintenance mode and workout only twice per week to keep muscle?
Once I make it (with my goal being 2/3/4/5 for 5 reps), I'm just going to train twice per week with weights and start working on making it in some other fitness goal, maybe climbing or cycling or something
become morbidly obese then kill yourself
Most people don't get satisfied with their physiques ever. There's always something to grow a little bit more

I just want to thank everyone for helping me get through all this a while back, that thread with 400 replies really helped me in ways you couldn't imagine. I'm back in the gym, becoming a bigger man. Hope you all are too.
