I'm so tired of arguing of arguing where no matter who wins it won't change a thing in either person's life. We'll keep our same opinions, probably stronger than before and keep doing our own things, only now having wasted 30 minutes or maybe even an hour arguing back and forth.

I can't say I've ever learned anything from /fit/ for example(even being the most productive and helpful board) other than when I had a specific question, I made a thread about it, got a few satisfactory answers and went on my way.

Relevant question, I'm actually interested in knowing at which point building muscle becomes 'pointless' i.e. reaches the point of diminishing returns.
I heard that even the AMA recommends lifting weights, surprisingly, twice a week, along with cardio another three times a week.
This is supposedly enough to reduce your chances of developing 90% of illnesses that kill most of the sedentary population, but doing more doesn't really have much of an effect because it's a negligible improvement when compared to the chances of acquiring a genetic disorders.
Athletes (like gold medallists etc.) don't outlive normal healthy populations or dodge cancers and other common killers.

Best way to avoid addiction is to take caffeine once a week only when needed.
Sounds strange, I can go from drinking 10 cups a day to 0 without much of a hassle. Sure you are slightly more tired the first day but it's not that harsh. I usually take a break from coffee for a week or so but always ending up going back eventually because I don't see any negative effects using it.

there are 3 swaps per game which leaves 7 players (goalie is naturally less intense) running for the full 90 minutes plus discount
soccer is also much less explosive than bball or football
