not, if you are not using complex carbs without a workout
from my knowledge, body burns first carbs, then fats, then proteins
if liver glycogen is low and you are not getting complex carbs, to support your daily moving around, you can burn muscle protein to balance blood sugar. so since its hard to balance blood sugar with vegies, upping protein is only option. and the insulin in it will keep healing your body along the day

I train using bodyweight and gravity since my head is large. As a guide I use a paper that studied the benefits from neck training to help avoid pain in flight pilots. In the paper they use a neck harness but I just use a desk to go back and forth and right and left. I feel like theres too much volume but anyway
