Going to start keto on Sunday. I'm on the high side of acceptable for my height.

Let's guess how much weight I'll lose in 30 days. I'll be aiming to eat < 1500 calories and burn, on average, >2000 calories everyday.

So I started lifting seriously around may, at least I thought I did.
You see my lifting partner got me into it and basically told me to follow his lead since he knew his stuff. I had no reason not to believe him so I started doing 8 rep sets of babbyweight and alot of isolation. All the while I was cutting so I made pretty much 0 gains.
If I start doing SS soon and eating alot will I still progress well or have I fucked myself?

I don't really know where else to ask this but thought this would be my best bet.

My friend has been going to muay thai classes for a little over a month and wants to do it professional. He is 25, somewhat fit despite heavy drinking and smoking and drug use and has had no previous physical pastime besides gymnastics when he was younger.

I think he has no chance of reaching champion levels but don't wanna shit on his fantasy, opinions?

Anyone can become a competent professional at anything really. When it comes to pro athletes though you need a lot of passion and talent to make it. If he's in the 1% He could be fighting in a few years but it's kind of like like picking up a basketball and saying I'm going to be in the NBA. It's not necessarily a realistic goal. Fighting is a lot different but he should temper his expectations.

In the military (assuming Army or Marine) you will hate your life in garrison. On deployment you will love it and then hate it towards the end. Once you are back you will hate it again. When you are out, you will want nothing more than to be back in.
