I'm 5'10" and my gf is 5'9", and although it doesn't bother me on a daily basis I really fear the moment when we'll be at some formal event and she'll use heels. But on the positive side, if this ends up working and we marry the kids will probably be tall, so there's more chance that the boy will not suffer the same beta hardships as his dad did.

Hey all. I am looking for a bicycle to get some extra exercise with. I have looked at road bikes and mt bikes and decided that both are way more than I need and way out of my budget. I have settled on a "track" bike...and a cheap one at that. My literal only requirements are that it has to be a decent bike and wont fall apart, also BRAKES! definitely not going brakeless. My budget is 500 although I would definitely like it to be under that. Also no CL bikes sorry...literally everything in my area is going to be stolen and or rusted to shit.

6'1 here. women here won't even look at you if your height starts with 5. i'm only ever so slightly taller than average, but can handle a girl up to about 5'9 with heels. i'm pretty happy with my height.
So i went to the gym with my friend, and i was deadlifting 70 kilos and i feel kinda proud of that cause i've made a lot of improvement lately i know it isnt much to your standars but anyway.

Go with a BCAA/carb mix during your workout to stop excess muscle tissue damage/replenish glycogen levels. Consume 20-30 grams of protein within 30minutes to an hour after you lift to maximize protein usage and muscle growth.

You need some food in you before you go lift. Personally I like to have a full meal 3-4 hours before and a snack (like banana with peanut butter) a half hour before.
Find a schedule that works for you. You want something carb heavy before lifting, preferably complex carbs.

The whole "30 minute protein window" is a supplement industry meme to sell protein. If you want to go down the research hole yourself, look up protein timing studies. You'll basically find a ton of studies that all say different things looking at "performance effects" that are barely statistically significant.
BCAA supplements are another bullshit product trying to suck your money for no results. Don't fall for that shit.
