Good or bad, post em here. Personally i have a bit of a mixed feel, but defineatly leaning more towards bad.

I feel like a loser even though im doing pretty good in most aspects of life. Im 18, got good grades, moving to a new city soon, have decent economy (worked since 15), nice gains, and an alright social circle. Yet i feel like a loser. I havent fucked any girls i actually want, and i dont really talk to girls when i havent been drinking or im not a little high. My social media is lagging behind even though i look and dress good, maybe cus i lack confidence, dunno. I also feel like ive sauandered the last 6months of my life beeing high and half-assing everthing. To top it all off my mother threw me out a week before i turned 18 and my relations with her have been bad since (a thing to keep in mind is that in our culture the kids very rarely move out before theh are done with school, and almost never get thrown out at 18). I know its not the worst situation and many have it worse but i still needed to get it out there

Just tired of always feeling anxious and sad about the future. I fell in love earlier this year and it took my mood to heights I've never reached and made me realize just how miserable I am otherwise. That fell through (gonna skip the details since it intensifies the feels) and now I'm even worse off than I was before. It's a bad feel man.

Newfag here. I've been working out solely with machines for the past year due to autism and being too much of a pussy to take up space by the free weights. I read the sticky and there it said "Machine exercises are inferior to using free weights in almost every situation.".

Would you say this is true? If so I might consider changing. But why would there even be machines if they are so useless? Just to make people like me feel better?

I stopped eating bread completely. No sandwiches, burritos, cakes, etc.second day was the hardest but I just made one month and I noticed some changes.

last night before I went to bed I had a light pain in my left upper arm, sort of where my bicep is. Kind of felt like one-vein in particular was hurting because it was sort of throbbing in pain to about halfway down my arm. It was pretty uncomfortable but I decided to ignore it

then I woke up in the middle of the night and HOLY FUCK it was way worse. To the point where I couldn't focus on anything, it hurt like a motherfucker. I started panicking and scrambling on my phone and saw something about inflammation and ice+tylenol. So I slapped an ice pack on it for about half-an-hour and had two ibuprofens, was finally able to get to sleep.

What the ever-loving fuck happened? It's not sore, so I don't think I injured it or pulled something. 5'11" 169 lbs 18-19% bf been cutting for a while.

I practice BJJ and I'm at a level where I can't realistically progress any further without training multiple times a day, every day, which I can't do unfortunately, so I'm going to throw in weightlifting.

My friend gave me a routine, which is:

Day 1: (Chest/Arms)
5x6 Pull Up
5x5 Bench Press (20s/25s on each side)
Chest Flies 10x3
Strict Push up (No more than 20 slowly x3)
Reverse Flies 10x3
Bicep Curl 10x3
Skullcrushers 10x3

Day 2: (Back)
5x6 Chin Ups
5x5 Deadlift (no more than a 45 and 25 on each side)
Back Extention 10-15x3
8 Heavy Rows x 3
Ab workout

Day 3: (Legs)
Light leg press 10x3
Squat (NMT 165 lbs)
Calf Raises 15-20x3
Push Press 5x6
Lateral Raise 15x3
Ab workout (leg raises 10-15x3)

I sort of understand why he's limiting the max weight, so that I'm not blasted for grappling training.

Is this sufficient? Grappling is a whole body sport, but at the same time, didn't King Rippitoe design Starting Strength for athletes?

Should I just be doing SS? Again, I train grappling 4 days a week, so I'd be lifting on days I'm not training. Would that be too much?
