I started at 25 now I'm 27. At 15 I probably could not have benched the bar I was a fat shut-in. My 1rm now is 205 lbs at 185 lbs body weight.

I spent my time reading. Lifting, drinking green tea and apple cider vinegar everyday, didn't touch any processed food. I didn't even fap once.

Buy better quality jeans ffs. Levis, Wrangler etc. You know, jeans you can put a carbine through the belt loop on and trust your weight to it. My 501's take 2-5 years to retire as work jeans. They then survive rubbing against concrete, thorns and sharp edges for at least 6 months to a solid year before they get so mangled I use them as oil rags.
Also, anyone know of a decent make in Levi's that fits bigger thighs and calves? You told me to do squats, I did, and now 501's are almost too tight and getting tighter... Think I've got 4 months more tops before I completely outgrow them.

Anyone know any decent counting apps that isn't mfp? Stuff I try to log never matches up to what's in the app. I'm getting tired of writing everything down in notebooks.
I just want something that calculates stuff. Something where I could input "Yellow onion, 100g, 40kcal" together with a bunch of other stuff and easily see that 250g of the meal is so and so many calories without having to spend hours inputting the macros. As of right now, my main concern is calories. I started counting last week, and I really don't feel comfortable counting macros yet.
I just use the create meal/food part of it and after a few months it's less hassle since I've just about already put in any meal/food I'd possibly eat.
Just about every other calorie counting app is gonna give you the same problem. If you're just starting just keep putting in your calories for whatever unique onion/meal/food that you regularly use and eventually you'll have put in everything.
Also don't stress macros as much as protein. Ime carb vs fat is insignificant. Just try to reduce refined sugar in general and trans fats.
