I think I'm coming down with a cold. So, I heard you could insert some garlic up there, where the sun don't shine. I wanna give it a go.
But, is it a clove, the whole head or what? And should I peel it first?

A nice chili should work even better.
In all honesty, make yourself a soup and sleep immideately after that.
Sticking garlic up your butt won't work. A enema is said to help against the flu, but I doubt it does anything against a common cold.

PAM has lecithin and it makes it exceedingly nonstick.

Can someone please confirm whether people actually like to eat meat when it gets black like this?

This black charred stuff on the meat tastes absolutely disgusting to me, I'm not a /ck/fag so I don't really know how meat is "supposed" to be but it seems that people purposely do this and they think it tastes good. To me this black stuff tastes bitter and inedible and I want to spit it out. I read once that there is a recessive trait that makes this taste bad to some people but I don't know if that is bullshit or not. Anyway, I would rather eat completely raw meat than this. Is this really something people purposely do and wtf does it taste like to them?

The meat is smoked. The colour comes from the fact that the smoke has coated the meat on the outside.
>It looks absolutely disgusting to me.
Spray paint it red then fucking faggot.
>>
>>8190356
it doesnt look disgusting, it tastes disgusting. I am not trying to be a special snowflake I just don't understand how this tastes good to people (I think?) when to me it genuinely tastes like chemicals that my mouth wants to automatically spit out, not like a preference thing but actually like a really bad inedible taste
>>

>It tastes disgusting

What you eat is probably more disgusting to everyone in general.

So I bought some ginger yet have zero idea what I'm supposed to do with it. Google isn't helping me much and only tells my how healthy it is and how nice it is in tea. If you were to make dinner with ginger as the main spice, how would you attack it?

literally put it in anything to make it better.
>>
Ginger is pretty versatile.

I use it a lot in stir fries, or any asian dish, really. In dahl or curries.

I like it in butternut squash soup. Or in gingerbread cookies.
>>
Make ginger tea.

I never understood how you Americans could eat salad with a disgusting sauce. Salad dressing for me is, olive oil, lemon juice, and feta cheese.
>>
>>8186266
>eww, you drown your salad in emulsified oil? that's disgusting, you should drown your salad in unemulsified oil instead
>>
>>8186288
No, the issue I have is not with the oil, it's with the copious amounts of sugar in a typical American dressing.
And my dressing is not emulsified, each one of those things are put separately.

Why is Pizza Hut the worst pizza chain? I love their breadsticks something fierce, but all their actual pizza is nasty. The only way I can eat it is if it's lukewarm or room temperature. Hot or cold just makes me ill.

>>
>>8184872
Their breadsticks are kinda dry, but maybe you've had better experience with them. The cheesebread, however, is the best of any chain or local place if and only if the ovens are nice and hot and they get golden brown on the bottom. I've had some bad luck with them.
>>
It's definitely not the best pizza I've ever had, but damn do I love their original crust. It's always nice and crispy and golden brown. If only their sauce wasn't so awful.
>>
>>8184891
Maybe that's why I hate it so much. Their sauce is awful and it conflicts with every other flavor

In my case it's apple and blueberry pies. I live in Oslo, Norway and you can't find those pies anywhere. The closest I've come is an american style diner that sells pecan. Why is it so unavailable? Is it about food conservation being impractical?

Caviar, at least on my hometown.
>>
It's not culture there, therefore they don't make it. They make other stuff like non-poo brown cheese and roasted sheep heads which you can't get in burgerland. Just make one yourself or move to burgerland where they make sweet pies.
>>
>>8184323
Even in the US, it's customary to only stock/serve blueberry/ apple pies and others when blueberries/ apples are actually in season.
Atm blueberry season is pretty much over, and apples haven't really come in full swing yet, so it's a bit of a pie deadzone. By late October apple pie will be everywhere.

Yes, if you can find a cook willing to burn all the easy to find ingredients involved, as that seems to be the only thing that makes it authentic.
