Is there anything particularly wrong with eating a dozen eggs a day?
I have hit very poorfag status and a dozen eggs is only $1.27
Was doing ramen before that but the taste has started to wear on me.
Nah, not if you're doing it for a relatively short time span.
Eggs are an EGGcellent source of protein and all sorts of good nutrients.
If you can afford it, switch things up weekly by:
>buying a loaf of bread, some creamy mustard, some cheap greens and making egg sandwiches
>buying rice, scallions, and stealing some soy sauce packets from a food court or use hot sauce and making Tamago Kake Gohan

Can somebody please explain that Ramen meme to me?
Why do people think that shit is cheap? When you're hungry, like actually hungry, you'll need at least two packs to make you feel full. Depending on which brand you buy, you'll have to pay ~1$, for which you can buy at least 500g, maybe 1kg at a discounter, of pasta. Cook that, if wanted put in a frying pan with 2-3 eggs and you have food for ~1 and a half meal, maybe 2 if you can get more than 500g.
And you know what, contrary to those cheapo ramen, the ingredients aren't complete shit.

Why don't you save up for live chicken then you'll get free eggs.
What's the most you've ever spent at once while eating out?

Bought some chicken breasts on thursday in a pre package pack. Ate one then - covered the packet in cling film and put it in the fridge. Will it be okay to cook up the rest tomorrow?

Does anyone have any experience baking with company?
I started studying in a foreign country which has coffee and some treat as a cultural thing I guess?
And I've managed to organise making coconut chocolate balls (with oats etc inside, no actual baking).
And I thought it'd be a neat idea to try make it a weekly/fortnightly thing where we make treats to go with coffee (because store bought is fucking expensive).
Does anyone have any suggestions for cheap/easy coffee compatible treats?
Also as someone who has never baked with other people as a friend-making activity, what the fuck do you do other than baking?
It's called nigger balls, baka gaijin.
wedding cookies are pretty gud

Lusikkaleivät- swap out jams/preserves for different filling. You can also make them larger and put a dimple in the middle to put jam in afterwards instead of sandwiching smaller ones together.
I am trying to cut back on meat but just do not know what to cook.
I have some rice noodles, basmati rice, coconut milk, curry powder, broccoli, onions and cabbage but it just seems like there is a big hole where the meat should be.
What do?
The solution is to not be a retard by cutting back on meat.
try beans instead, this is a great way to prevent animal suffering.
Why do you want to cut back?
In any case, when you subtract meat, you are subtracting a substantial amount of protein. Ass in eggs, milk, beans, yogurt, etc. to ensure proper protein intake. I would also subsitute your regular recipes with vegetarian versions. Ex- instead of doing a chicken stir-fry, just add more veg variants, maybe some tofu if you're into that.
It's been a weird week so I haven't cooked much. So in that regard, this is a very easy meal.
So this week we'll be making chickpea and sweet potatoes curry.
Ingredients :
2 small onions (or 1 larger one)
2 cloves of garlic
an inch or so of ginger
1 tbs curry mix of your choice
1 can chickpeas
1 large sweet potato
1 cup water
1 can coconut milk
1/2 cup frozen peas
1 cup diced tomatoes
basmati rice, to serve
oil (I'm using peanut oil)
1. In a thick bottomed sauce pan warm about 1 tbs of the oil. Add the diced onions and cook, stirring often, until translucent.

2. Add the garlic (minced), the ginger (grated) and the curry spices.
What's for dinner lads?

Do you judge people based on what they order at restaurants, or what restaurants they like?
Nah, I haven't been 16 years old for a few years now
>asks if /ck/ judges people based on what they order at restaurants
>posts image clearly intended to incite an angry response at the girl in the image for wanting a well-done steak
What the fuck did he mean by this?
>>8188158
Do I judge people when they're imbeciles on /ck/? Yeah.
Do these come ripe from the store or do you have to keep them in the cupboard till their ready, how long does that take and how can you tell?
>>8188092
Some times they come ripe, some times they don't.
You can tell their ripeness by their texture. Squeeze them lightly, as soon as they're not hard anymore they're good to go.
>>8188092
no youll need to squeeze them
If you wrap them in a paper bag they ripen a bit faster.
What are some nice recipes that include waffles? For breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Everything has to include waffles as the primary ingredient to some degree.
I need some ideas.

Is anyone else afraid of going to the same restaurant (or any store really) too often because they might start to "know" you?
No.
There is a Japanese restaurant I go to and the manager knows me by name. He always comes and talks to me when I go there and always gives me something new to try on the house.
>>8185154
No way. In fact that's the best part. Being a regular at a diner is so comfy. It's like casual friendship when they know your name and you learn their's and the other regulars.
