Yep. Food's good, nothing particularly scummy recently (no bad business or financial practices coming to light, employee/customer discrimination and other things being phased out), and the chains themselves are strongly consistent in quality/operations. I don't think I've ever had a complain about Cracker Barrel food in all the times I've been to one.

I enjoy it mostly. It's a great feeling to feed the president.

I hate all donuts. I have yet to find one I like, they're all too sweet for me and I hate glazes.

It contains a lot of complex proteins and fats that are otherwise fairly difficult to get from plants, require synthetic foods (and god knows what that shit will do to us long term since it's so new), or means you're going to be eating 10lb of mung beans a day.

Also, I don't believe you. Nobody who has raised and slaughtered their own meat would suddenly think it's getting "too hard".

God my worst dish must be one of the 25 over the course over a night at a place trying really hard to get a Michelin star. The whole courses were 50/50 but the one that I refused to finish (not a picky eater) was as follows:

>an icecream cone made from 'kletskop', which is a Dutch cookie
>filled with a piece of 'ossenworst' which is (great) Amsterdam semi-raw sausage
>topped with sorbet ice-cream made from onions 'Amsterdam style' (pickled), very strong taste

I don't know what the fuck they were thinking. Next course was wild salmon cubed with watermelon, watercress and dill, made up like a checkers board. Was great, albeit unconventional. Restaurant was trying way too hard. Did fuck the female sommelier so not all bad.

The oven roasted chicken is shit but somehow good with added ranch and bacon. White bread, toasted, shredded cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, and bell pepper. I'd say it's a fairly tasteful combination as far as subway goes.
