This year, I'm hunting my deer with a gun instead of a bow. I'm getting too old to chase it down for 200 meters through the brush even with a lung/heart shot. A gun put's them away unless you're such a horrible shot you gut shoot them, and I've never done that even with a bow.

So, yeah, I think it's bad for the animal to suffer at all during the kill.

I should state that in the last video, the guy wraps the meat round a beer can and cooks it in the oven. I didn't use this method, I simply fried individual "slices".

I have this recipe in my head...I'm only typing this to get the most important points across... so the ingredients are up to you.

I used 25% beef and 75% lamb

Take your favorite spice/heavy salt mixture, mix it with the beef mix..

Put it in a glass meatloaf tray. Pack it extra tight.

Refrigerate it until cold and solid

Bake it like you would a meatloaf

DO NOT CUT IT OPEN AT ANY POINT

Refrigerate it again, until solid and congealed. Preferably for few hours.

Slice into thin slices and let it return to close to room temp.. Not all the way, though

Then, broil it right beneath the broiler until it gets crispy.
Honestly, I think a George Foreman rotisserie would probably work a lot better. Should look like this picture.

Every morning I drink two death wish coffees from my keurig. Used to cold brew but it was a pain in the ass to clean every other day.

I always skip breakfast. For lunch, I will usually eat a bologna sandwich. Just packaged bologna, 3 slices on bread with ketchup and mustard. For sides I will eat two vending machine bags of chips and 5 Oreos. I accompany this with three cans of Diet Coke.

When I get home from work, if I'm feeling particularly wealthy, I will usually stop by McDonald's for my usual: two sandwiches and a large fry, or I'll order a pizza from dominos. Or if I'm running low on cash, maybe I will just eat half a bag of chips and some more cookies.
