Is caffeine a placebo? Sometimes when I'm tired as shit I buy a redbull or a monster just for the fuck of it and it never really makes any noticeable difference. I feel just as tired after as I did before. And I drink coffee like once a week. Does caffeine only work when you believe it works?
>>8313497
I know it's real, I just assume some people are more tolerant than others. I can have a whole 350 mg in one drink and not feel anything, but my girl friend will have a heart attack if she has half a monster.
I've heard it takes more caffeine to make an extroverted person wired as opposed to an introverted person, which requires much less.
Are you an extrovert, OP?
Some days a red bull welds my eyes open. Other days I take 1 g of caffeine and fall asleep 15 minutes later. Most refreshing sleep I ever got, by the way.
If you want guaranteed energy, obviously amphetamines are the way to go. If you are over 18, go to your local pharmacy and ask for Bronkaid. You'll show your ID and pay $10. Try two, or four, and see how you feel.
Is meat unhealthy for humans? Is it unhealthy for the environment?
Too much of anything is unhealthy

>Is meat unhealthy for humans?
no
>Is it unhealthy for the environment?
define "unhealthy for the environment"
Any of you co/ck/s remember those videos of the crazy Finnish guy cooking in his disastrous kitchen? I distinctly remember hot dogs and cheese in a pot of dirty water, as well as him putting meat on the rim of his toilet, but not much else. I've been looking all over for them but can't find them.
also cooking disaster videos thread I guess

How much water should I drink a day?
>>8312433
>get thirsty
>drink a glass
It's not that hard anon.
>>8312433
All of the water.
I'm sick of chopping onions
Is this the best solution?
Onion is literally, objectively the easiest vegetable to chop. Don't fall for this television tier meme cooking equipment.
>>8312149
I know of no other veggies that defend themselves when sliced.
>>8312155
Try not being a bitch
Do you like Taco Bell? What's your go-to order?
We can agree that Taco Bell is the best national fast food chain, right?
For me it is the McChicken
I like a good Quesarito every now and then.
A crunchy thing (usually nachos or taco 'spremes) and a soft thing like burrito or chalupa. A third thing if I'm feeling extra sad.

I make filling everywhere I go and people love it.

Does /ck/ like foie gras?
I bought some to try out myself, with a baguette and some fig jam.
While the fat that came off of frying it was fucking amazing, the actual liver itself tasted really strong.
What is your favorite BBQ sauce? I actually like Stubb's BBQ Sauce, especially when it's on sale.
Way down in our Beloved Dixie, my family and our kin have our own recipe. Our methods and ingredients are known by heart and held in close embrace.
Big fan of the Best Barbecue Sauce I Have Ever Tasted™.

For me, it is the McChicken, the best fast food sandwich.
I just heated up and ate a can of beans for the first time in my life, and they were positively
appetizing.
What are some good bean dishes I can make?
>>8315802
On toast
with sausages
Fry-up aka full english breakfast
Beans on toast
Beans with cheese, preferably cheddar
Beans and sausages
Add spices to them, you can make curry flavoured beans for example, or mexican flavoured
Try the ones that come with those mini-sausages in the tin
why bro?
don't we all deserve to live on peace in this planet together? when will the genocide end?

No you can't speak
When people come to their senses and realize that turkey is dry as a lesbians vag at the YMCA and bland as fucking a load of bread.
I know right? Duck tastes way better
Do you like pop/soda?
I'm addicted to this stuff. Drink it every day.
>>8315149
Soda is not addictive, anon.
enjoy your kidney stones and heart disease
>>8315149
I treat myself to a Pitch Black once a week
What went wrong?
>>8315061
no one want tomato on a big mac ?
>>8315448
Bad guess, it's nothing like a big mac. Confirmed faggot that never ate an arch deluxe.
>what went wrong
they marketed it as an adult sandwich that kids won't like, eliminated a key demographic right off the bat
>>8315641
>nothing like a big mac
So yeah I am right, failed because big mac is better, you admit it.
Marketing is always fail, consumers are dumb shits, rather have 1/4 burger than 1/3 burger.
AmeriFats don't know fractions.
Why ask if answer own question ?
It's Sunday, what have you cooked today /ck/?
I woke up early this morning and wanted some pancakes but realized my milk was expired and couldn't be assed to go out and get some more. I ended up making some lunches for the week while the clothes were in the laundry.
It's basic chicken, onions, peppers and mushrooms with steam rice. I'm trying to lose weight and this will keep me fed for lunch til Wednesday. Not in the picture are the hard boiled eggs I also plan to pack for snacks/breakfast (my shift is basically 12 hours long). All in all, it took about 40 minutes to do and I'm curious if anyone has any good ideas for meal prep like this that can last a few days without tasting like ass when I reheat it.
>>8314701
Chips and homemade salsa and lamb stew.
Also - if your milk is a bit expired, it's probably all the better for baking.
>>8314701
>hearty pasta sauces like bolognese
>green thai curry
>any kind of stew really (use lean meat, onions and vegetables that can stand some heat)
>>8314786
My next kitchen purchase is going to be a slow cooker. Probably after the holidays but I'm trying to stick to healthy dieting meals so that bolognese is out of the questions.
Anybody else love this stuff?
The spicy is by far the best.
>>8313983
You're alone.
It's not even really octopus.
It's squid that has been rejected from finer uses.
>>8314006
But I've seen Goya squid too, in the same sauce
Why don't you like it?
Anyone else who like this please post
