The waiter speaks english (wheter Br. or Am.)
Is this the CHEAPEST way to become a drunkard?
It's the most high school way.
Just get a handle of vodka or whiskey
if you drink these get a 5 hour energy and pour them in after you take a few sips, so you can get that OG four loko feeling back
>There are people on this board who don't enjoy their fries with salt and malt vinegar
I remember mixing salt and vinegar as a child to clean old pennies.
The deep brown patina on copper coins melts away in seconds leaving a bright copper.
But the damn things just corrode again really fast after being dipped in this vile mixture. It smells like my crotch after not showering for a week in the July sun. If you enjoy licking my rancid ball sweat, then go for it. You can also clean your pennies. OP serves a dual purpose.

trying this hard
They're bland and borderline inedible without vinegar
Rate my Wal Mart Trip/10

It's all prepared processed stuff. Why? Mussels are so easy to buy fresh and steam yourself.
>>8300895
because its easy as fuck to heat up when drunk and relatively cheap

Trashy but convenient
How are you making gravy this thanksgiving? Packetfags need not apply
>>8297320
Chicken fat from roasting pan. my gf and her family hate turkey. Finely diced garlic shallots saute until translucent. Add in a mix of chicken stock and water. Cook down add in cornstarch and cook until desired consistency scrape up all that fond.
I'm pooring it out of a jar from the grocery shelf. Tastes fine, takes less time.
>>8297320
I actually made some stock for that very purpose yesterday. I bought a bunch of duck wings & turkey necks. Roasted 'em in the oven and made the stock in a pressure cooker.
When the turkey is done roasting on Thanksgiving I'm going to set it aside to rest while I make the gravy using the pan drippings from the roasted bird, a whole bottle of white wine, and the stock I made over the weekend.
>>8297495
"Fine" is not good enough. The gravy should be a mouthgasm with every bite.
What does /ck/ think of him?
Is he really a good cook or just a good actor with a temper?
>>8280791
Both.
Now he mostly is just an actor with a (mostly pretended) temper and an entrepreneur, but he is (or was at least) definitely a good cok imho
He was the former and is now the latter.
When was the last time he actually ran his own restaurants properly, in the kitchen day after day?
PAN
NICE

HOT

Hot sauce thread
Fuck Crystal edition
>>8297485
What's wrong with Crystal? When you just need basic cheap louisiana type hotsauce it hits the spot.
Anyway what's the hottest, but still good tasting hot sauce available at a regular grocery store? El Yucateco is good but needs more heat.
Don't want something that is unbearably hot and tastes like shit though, already have some "universe's hottest hot sauce" but it's just bitter and shitty tasting, aside from being hot as fuck. I could handle the heat if it actually had a decent flavor though.
Anyway, El Yucateco a best, Pick-a-peppa mango a good (for certain things), Tabasco and Cholula a shit, Sriracha meh. Tapatio is boring too, similar to crystal but in mexican flavor niche in which case so much better out there (like el yucateco).
Picked up some Sontava habanero xxx on a lark, it's okay but needs more heat.
>>8297521
Just get the extra hot yucateco
>>8297485
I just tried sriracha for the first time few days ago. I expected a lot but I was a bit disappointed when i tried it. It's not bad, but it's not that good either.
i am going to make some poppers this weekend. i found many recipes, and the one i tried out said i should roast the jalapenos before to mellow out the flavor.
since ill be working a lot, could i roast the jalapenos the night before? and then refrigerate them, until im ready to use them?
>>8305168
If you dont want your peppers to be apicy just use bell peppers.
>>8305207
This.
Don't be a fucking pussy.
Eat them raw and mock the cream cheese.

if the seeds are removed they won't be spicy at all. no need to do this
Why do Americans ruin so many good traditional English and European foods on Thanksgiving
How do you ruin the concept of eating turkey with that absolutely disgusting """stuffing"""
Or how those filthy Americans ruin a good squash by muddling it and fucking ruining the complex flavour with sugar and gross powdered spices
Fuck Americans and thanksgiving

>How do you ruin the concept of eating turkey with that absolutely disgusting """stuffing"""
Well what do you do with the organs when you make turkey?
Hi /ck/
I'm having the family over around 2pm for an early Thanksgiving dinner. What time should I take my turkey out to defrost? I'm planning on frying it so it does cook fast regardless.
>>8306252
You are a fucking moron.
Gr8 b8 m8 8/8
>>8306252
I'm assuming I'm being le tricked.
That being said, you should be able to just fry it as is. Just leave it in longer than usual, say another 45 seconds per pound.
Everytime I go and buy a sub like twice a year or so it disappoints me how boring these "sandwhiches" actually are.
>>8306112
Subway is nothing but disappointment. Their ingredients are garbage, and their store baked bread is some of the worst bread I've ever tasted. I gave up on them over a decade ago. They're just not good.
Subway is extremely mediocre but for some reason I still eat it semi regularly. I think I just really like deli sandwiches no matter how low quality they are and subway is the easiest to get. For me subs are like pizza. Even the shitfy ones are delicious
Never going there again. Everytime I go and eat there I feel sick a few hours after. The lettuce always tastes wilted and both the meat and the veggies sit out for way too long being a bacteria magnet.
That being said, the thai pulled pork was pretty fking amazing but im still never eating there again.
I have access to large amounts of brewed coffee and want it preserve it for later. Is there a way to turn brewed coffee into a shelf stable coffee base or a powder?
>>8305802
There is but do you have the tools/expertise to do this? Would this be economically viable? I doubt.
I suggest freezing the leftover coffee and then using as a flavoring for devils food.
You could evaporate it slowly on really low heat but this would probably fuck up the flavor. Maybe look up "how to make instant coffee"
>want to deep fry a turkey
>buy one of those turkey fryers
>do a test fry the day before
>everything literally goes wrong and i almost burned down my entire yard
>had to call the fire department
>parents, uncles, and family members all ridiculed me
>"I guess we'll just cook it the old fashioned way!"
>"Haha anon I hope you weren't planning on going to culinary school!"
dumb frog poster
Did you put it in frozen or something?

no he probably just has zero self-awareness
at least they have the decency to color-code their posts with that dumb facebook frog so i can ignore their posts
