Im planning on making macarons soon, any tips for my first time? I also need a decent recipe
Also general macaron thread
>>8476115
I like pretty patties too. Op
macarons are shit. They all taste the same and they're too expensive.
>>8476115
make earl grey ones
For me, it's the chicken without the fucking mechanically separated chicken that's even remotely worth eating.
How do you poorfags stomach that garbage?
Fear of starvation.
>>8475949
It's not poorfags, it's either can'tcookfags, or wasraisedonshitfoodfags.
People who are honestly poor can't afford fast food. They buy cheap raw ingredients and cook from scratch.
>>8475953
No, the reason they are poor is they are fat and no one wants to hire a fat disgusting fuck
And they spend all their neetbux on Macdonald hamburgs instead of buying beans rice and veg

>haven't been home (NJ) in years
>jersey mikes opens up near me
It's as close to my favorite sub shop as I can get.
God bless this place
>>8475575
Over priced trash jimmy jons is better
>>8476600
apologize
>>8476600
Literally nobody on the planet prefers Jimmy Johns over any other sub.
However I do think its amazing that through a combination of MBA fucks and market testing they were able to create a sub that is on the same bottom tier of "fine, but everything else is better" as Subway, yet it taste completely different.
Jersey Mike is barely better but it is better. I've found it kind of expensive off the east coast and not worth it
Is /ck/ familiar with working with rice flour like pic related?
I picked up this brand on impulse, but I'm a little confused on where to use it since I can't read Korean and the English text doesn't say whether or not the rice is short/med/long grain, or glutinous/non-glutinous.
>>8475448
>rice glutinous/non-glutinous
Depends on how much you eat
>short/med/long grain
Measure out one cup and weigh it. it weighs more than .1 kilo it's long grain if less then short grain. If it's exactly .1 kilo it's med.
>>8475609
They have this one available too though, which is what threw me off
What kind of sandwich is Swiss Cheese best suited for?

>>8475435

It's best suited for the trash can.

>"And what would you like to drink?"
>"I'll have a water."
What if i can't drink due to medications?
Wow you sure showed us with that cowboy hat tipping image. I sure am afraid of being called a hat tipper.
At least I won't kill a family with my drunk driving.
I'm a poor skeleton. Please share recipes that are calorie dense and preferrably cheap.
>inb4 just eat cake and pizza everyday
>>8474311
Mac and cheese boxes. Pretty sure they have like 2-3 300+ calorie servings in them.
just drink canola oil
>>8474311
Just go after vegetable proteins like bread, peanut butter ect. 1 slice of brown bread has 4 grams of protein and costs almost nothing. Also go for eggs since their cheap and high in protein, and unsaturated fat.
Go for foods like shakshouka that are cooked in a sauce and eat them with rice or bread for calories.
Are those motherfucking buffalo chicken cheese fries from elliot rodgers last stand.

Green Olives are the best pizza topping, they go great with just about anything else....pepperoni, sausage, even pineapple
>>8473291
>a disgusting mess of fatty "cheese"
>Greasy soggy dough
>"""""""pepperoni"""""" """"""""""""""""sausage""""""""""""
Why the fuck do Americans insist that that mound of shit is a Pizza?
>>8473291
Pepperoni mushroom is a better combo than pepperoni and olives
Texans, you have 10 seconds to explain why you're such terrible cooks.
t. Louisiana
>>8473040
Louisiana, you have 0.000001 picoseconds to explain why your state is full of niggers that drown their food in cajun
t. Oregon
>>8473040
Texan here, were pretty good cooks. So are you Louisiana. Why are you trying to make a fuss, you've drank too much tonight brother? You are always my friend and our best neighbors.
I've got a great big crock-pot/ slow cooker that i use to make stew. i can eat out of it (and my rice cooker) for a week
. but i am tired of my pork-ginger-root stew and i need some other ideas
>>8472717
geez that's like, the OG, 70s crockpot. sell that shit on ebay, son.
here's an idea: a local used bookstore is usually a treasure trove of old, out of fashion cookbooks.
i found some great shit at mine. Home and Garden and Betty Crocker series from the 70s. Crockpot. Toaster Oven. Cooking for One. Recipes With 5 Ingredients or Less.
that kind of stuff. gold. not one of them was more than two bucks.
>>8472717
You sound like a working class chump. I bet you thought it would be a great "investment", how you would wake up to a warm, healthy breakfast to start off your long day. Maybe, you even had a couple thoughts about all the other nifty little uses you could find for the thing, how it would help you cook healthier meals in general, shed a couple pounds off the old gut, boost your confidence around work and with the ladies. Yeah, maybe that slow cooker would start your life cooking again, wouldn't it? I can see your strained hands holding the box and reading through it carefully at the store. A little bit pricey, but you're the type of guy who thinks everything is more than you can spend, aren't you. And look what happened to you. Look what the slow cooker did to you. Fucked you over, and made you clean it like a useless bitch. You don't even fucking like oatmeal. Piece of shit, you've been repeating those three words your whole life, haven't you. Yeah, how was work after that piece of shit fucked you over? I bet it was on your mind the whole day, you probably didn't say shit to nobody. Can't be telling people about your mistakes. How your little fix yourself plan, failed you. Don't want people to start thinking you're the failure. You're the piece of shit, all along. You don't want that do you? You don't want to be the piece of shit everybody secretly whispers about, do you? Was your father a piece of shit like you? I bet he never had a slow cooker. He had a woman, a house, a damn good job. I bet it's slow cooking you the fuck alive, isn't it. Comparing yourself to him. How one day when all the steam runs our of your life, you'll discover how you're nothing more than burnt shit to be scrapped off and thrown in the trash.

>>8472406
Dark Skittles has lime.
Stop eating children's candy.
>lime orchard

lime and cherry best flavours
Does this taste citrus-y or it it just my imagination?
It doesn't even taste like cola, it has no caramel flavor.
>>8472173
It tastes like vodka mixed with Pepsi, but with all the alcohol taken out. It's shit.
yeah I think its a bit citrusy Id prefer it just be pepsi without the carmel coloring though.
It tastes like Pepsi to me, although the HFCS kind of fucks it up a bit.
We really need a Throwback version of Crystal Pepsi.
