What are the triggers that let you know you need to go shopping?
>no more cheese
>no more bread
>no more olives
>>8478443
i go shopping for food every day
>>8478444
are you european? I notice europeans typically do this.
>>8478445
no i am american. they only reason i do it is because i change my mind on what i want to eat a lot during the day and there is a grocery store like right next to my house so i can hit it on my way home. i keep normal cooking stuff around but anything fresh like produce or meat i buy daily
Mayo general. Talk about your favorite mayo + food combination. Weirder the better!
Grilled cheese and mayo is god tier.
>>8478404
I put mayo on my corn flakes.
Applesauce and mayo is a match made in heaven.
Especially if you use the local (Belgian) sour mayo.

Seriously? Is it honestly that good?
Its okay
don't get your hopes too high because while it's good, it's not some legendary burger joint that shits out the best sandwiches in the entire world
been to in N out in la and Austin not too different
>>8478151
This.
It's only "good" because all other fast food burger joints are shitty.
>>8478149
It's highly overrated.
Their fries are garbage.
What is the fast food joint with the optimal "quality to price" ratio?
For example, I would say McD's is a low ratio: poor quality, high price.
god tier:
KFC
high tier:
wendy's
shit tier:
everything else
1. In 'n Out
2. Little Caesars
3. Taco Bell
>>8477127
>god tier:
>KFC
KFC prices suck.
Pic related is the black lager I made. Incoming pics are of me racking a mosaic dry hopped lager. Ama. Discuss all types of brewing besides beer I also cider and wine on occasion.

Pretty clean racking huh boys?
>can't buy beer at 99.9% of fast food restaurants
Why not?
Because they have drive-thrus, obviously.
>>8476439
So I can't get one for the road? Lame.

You need to make the switch to medical marijuana, if it were not for marijuana being soul sucking. But if you live in a medical state you can get that shit delivered to you. Don't even have to leave the house, the asian man drives to your house and sells the sticky sticky green stuff to you.
Anyone here into pickling? I recently got into chutneys, pickled mashes, etc. I've done:
Dill pickles (string beans, cucumber, chiles)
Mango (standard Indian)
Eggs
Cabbage (sauerkraut)
Any good pickling recipes or experiments I should try?
For my dill pickles, I throw in a sprig of rosemary and a chopped thai chili. The brine goes well with gin.
>>8476425
just made pickled eggs and beets. my farts smelling like eggts snd beets.
>>8476432
Gin in the brine, or as an accompaniment?
So I've started a nice herb garden with dill, sage, rosemary, basil, oregano, parsley, chives, and mint. Some of it will be used in cooking, but I was curious if I could make a salad out of them. Or at least add them to a salad.
Thoughts, /ck/?
grow tarragon and forget all those other pleb tier "herbs"
>>8476327
you can grow cucumbers if you have room and use the dill in cucumber salad.
basil is good in salads as an accent, as is mint.
chives are basically mild green onions so they'd probably work in a salad as well
do yourself a favor and don't mix them all into a salad unless you like torturing yourself
Is there an herb garden infographic or a recommended book, wiki, etc? I started an herb garden a few months back, but my basil and cilantro both died fairly quickly. I don't know if it's due to too much/too little water/sunlight, or maybe some other factor
Anybody else like to let their ramen go cold and then eat it?
Nobody likes this.
lol the lid fell off in ur pic

>eating ramen
>the lid falls off
I'm going to be trying this soon, what am I in for? I'm also putting mixed vegetables in the rice and eating it with sausage.
My dad used to make hot dog fried rice when I was a kid.
Chop onions.
Cut up hot dogs.
Put onions in a cold pan with oil and set to high heat.
When sizzling audibly, add hot dog pieces.
Stir-fry.
When onions start to brown, add cooked, day-old rice.
Stir-fry.
When rice starts to stick, add ketchup, salt and a little chicken broth.
Stir to combine and allow rice to absorb liquid.
Stir-fry.
Mix in chopped scallion greens.
Serve with fried egg on top.
Kinda like a yellow-trash version of omurice. It's Flip high-cuisine.
It's pretty great. What I used to do was buy fried chicken like from popeyes or church's and pulled the meat off the bone and put it onto a bowl of rice then add ketchup on top.
Needs chili powder
Hi /ck/ my daughter is depressed today because the Dallas cowboys lost and I'd like to make something for her to cheer her up. I'm just looking for ideas, I thought maybe I could do something like pic related but I've never decorated cookies so it might turn out a disaster. Anyone know anything easy I could make? Bonus points for being football or Cowboys related. She's 12 years old.
>>8476139
CHEESE-cake.
>>8476139
Put frosting on a football and hand it to your child.
Tell her losers eat loser food.
cookies ARE pretty easy bud, give em a shot.
Why is broccoli so fucking tasty? We've got to get to the bottom of this shit.
It's the vodka.
It's always the vodka.
>>8473498
You think broccoli is good plain? Sautee that stuff in butter and garlic. You ain't seen nothin yet.
because it's rich in vitamin C and K, and your body tastes that and says "fuck yeah, we can use this shit to repair tissue."
When's the last time you had a big messy plate of cheese fries?
Fries go best with gravy or cajun spice.
>>8472954
making em right now
Never. Should I?
