Bonus points if it didn't make you piss out of your asshole for 4 hours after
Probably the brunch buffet at my local Mariott.

So I got a pound of the thing but I don't really know what to do with this except the obvious soup. Use it as seasoning? Sauce? What are some recipes that use this?
>>8481931
You can use it as a glaze, marinade, vinaigrette. Here's a couple: http://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1015115-miso-glazed-fish; http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2016/03/poached-chicken-miso-watercress-recipe.html. Can't speak to the recipes, haven't tried either.

>So I got a pound of the thing but I don't really know what to do with this except the obvious soup

You dont, you just develop self control.
go to the store, buy burger things
or if it's just fries or soda you're craving, buy that instead
drink flavored sparkling water for a week and you won't crave soda anymore

Anchovies are the devil's topping
So now that the headache myth has been thoroughly debunked what are some good uses for MSG?
Is it a salt replacement? Do I use it with salt?
>>8481024
Yes you use it in place of salt and don't make the mistake of thinking you can use 1 to 1 measurements either. Also it can give you a headache but so can too much salt. Too much MSG is just more palatable when you eat it.
I put a tiny pinch in with any recipe that involves protein. Makes meats meatyer.
>>8481029
>you use it in place of salt
No, in addition to salt.
Actually, everything you said is retarded.
I read Himalayan salt is a meme and not healthier than cheaper, industrial salt?
>>8480273
it's better for cooking. much in the same way as kosher salt but no it isn't directly related to healthier eating but oh well. idiots will still buy it in excess.
>>8481341
>better for cooking

>>8481348
Your cooking will be more successful if you use it.

Why is American beer so piss weak?
>American beer is just these three brands because I'm a fucking retarded troll
>>8476284
>posting a fucking barrel aged beer
>>8476266
It's the American way. Take something and boil it down to its simplest, blandest, lowest common denominator form and then commercialise it.
