I bought a bunch of canned tuna. What should I do with it?
Will eating a lot of it kill me from mercury poisoning like left-wing liberals say it will? I bought chunk light and I heard it has way less mercury than albacore.
>>8505017
squeeze the tuna water into a glass, throw the rest away, drink it.
>>8505017
Yes, take it slow, canned tuna won't spoil anyway.
I like making pasta sauces with it. You can probably experiment and come up with some decent main course salads
>>8505025
I used to give the left over water to my cat to lap up. But I no longer have a cat
What is the best dum dum pop flavor?
>>8504850
I don't remember what they taste like but pretty sure I liked cotton candy or some other "pink" flavor the most.
Root beer, chocolate, and orange cream in that order

Rootbeer a close second

I only feel comfortable eating whilst sitting on a toilet. Social anxiety in school and such, but I never coped so I can't eat out. Good side is that I don't ever need to worry about buying a dining room table.
There's a German word that I'd like to describe this subreddit as, gemütlichkeit. It describes a space or state of warmth, friendliness, and good cheer. Other qualities include coziness, peace of mind, belonging, well being, and social acceptance.
In celebration of gemütlichkeit, what is your favorite gemütlichkeit food?
Mine is goulash with spaetzel.
>>8504367
>peace of mind...social acceptance.
A bit contradictory there, senpai.
>>8504367
A little bit of chicken fried
>>8504367
Fried chicken, korean bbq, chicken and dumplings, homemade pizza
What's your guys' favorite hamburger helper mix?
Pic related, making some right now
Tuna helper
I stopped eating Hamburger Helper after they released that mixtape. I don't support cultural appropriation.
Classic cheeseburger macaroni but add a bunch of extra Velveeta, onions, and some chopped cabbage.
Hnnnnnnnnggggggg
i'm canning black beans tonight and will post the process as i go
Why of all things would you can beans?
>>8503710
cheaper than store canned
more convenient than dry
it's like the best of both worlds
>>8503816
>more convenient
I mean, I guess so.
Do you at least flavor them up first, or just legit make your own version of plain jane canned beans?
I just ate my salmon rare because I was hungry and couldn't wait for it to be fully cooked. How badly did I fuck up?
Yeah I ate sushi too.
You're fine you fucking faggot
you just have worms now
it's not so bad. i have a variety and they mostly don't crawl out of my anus at night. and no pork tapeworm or raccoon roundworm so my brain cyst situation is OK. the blood flukes kinda suck
>>8503292
haven't you read the news about how there is a huge epidemic of sea lice in salmon now?
What was the last thing you made?
Made some Chicken Tagine with couscous over the weekend. Best chicken I've ever had.
>you know it's done when it sticks to the wall
Posted it a couple days ago, but braised some country style pork ribs. A bit less apple cider vinegar next time, and more crushed red pepper, but overall pretty good.

We do, dummy.
Because it's mostly raised for wool and despite having a reputation as a fancy meat, it's understood to taste terrible
So people choke it down occasionally but otherwise ignore it

Is the Lagavulin 16 supposed to have a lot of smoke in it?
My first bottle of whiskey was the Dalwhinnie 15.
I liked it at first, but after a while, I started to dislike it.
Later I tasted the Laphroaig 10, and I loved its smokey character.
So I decided to buy a bottle of Lagavulin 16, and I ended up kind of dissapointed.
To me it tasted more like Dalwhinnie 15 than Laphroaig 10.
Is this how its supposed to be?
Could I have gotten a bad bottle, or could it be that its me who cant get the complexe flavours, due to my relatively young age?
>>8501927
With age, whiskies become more subtle and complex. Most good peated whiskies will tell you their parts per million of peat. Until you learn to differenciate and enjoy the nuances of whisky, age is irrelevant. All the bottles you've mentioned are made to a specific mixture of casks, and will have no perceivable difference from bottle to bottle. Look into the areas of scotch whisky production, as the location is a very good indicator of taste profile. Peated stuff is from the islands, Islay being the most famous. Have fun and good luck!

Anyone know why Willett Pot Still Reserve is so good while every other bourbon is complete trash?
I just got home after being given an ileostomy at 22. I have to avoid fibrous foods for the time being. No beans, lentils, wholegrain, oats, fibrous fruit and veg...
And fuck, this is most of my diet. Any tips on how to eat beyond just putting meat on top of pasta and white rice?
>>8501708
you a tube on your belly that drains the excrement?
>>8501713
The end of my small bowel protrudes out of my belly
I stick bags over it to contain the unstoppable flow of shit. I have no conscious control of the shitstream.
Speaking of white rice, I was thinking of getting a rice cooker now I'm out just for convenience. I'm still mostly patched together with surgical glue, so anything that reduces effort feels worthwhile.
It looks like these things are expensive as hell in the UK though; I can't find any that look worthwhile. Anyone here have a good one?
What's the most shameful things you've ever done in a kitchen, /ck/?
