Baby just moved out of mommy's house and had to quit his job, so now he can only afford cheap dishes
What are some cheap dishes besides pasta with canned sauce and cheap salads that I can make?
Not eating meat will save a lot of money.
>rice and beans + some sauteed veg
>sweet potato hash
>mac and cheese + veg
>veg soups, eg minestrone
Literally just eat grains + beans + some other random ass vegetables and you'll be more than fine and jewish as hell
>>8503512
Look up a dish called Pinto Gallo it's cheap, filling and tastes pretty good too.
>>8503560
What's a cheap meat I can gorge on? Ground beef?
Hey, what do you guys want for breakfast?
>Pancakes!
Now that the kids have ordered, what do the adults want?
You have legitimate autism, don't you OP?

Liverwurst on rye.
You can use different colored bell peppers, or just stick with green. This recipe uses a combination of sweet and hot sausages, but if you want a milder dish, use only the sweet sausages and reduce the amount of chili pepper flakes in the recipe. (Likewise if you want it hotter, use hot sausages and/or bump up the amount of chili pepper flakes.)
Sausage, peppers and onions will keep in the fridge for several days.
Serve over polenta, or with penne pasta, or load up in a hoagie roll. Any leftover sauce makes a great sauce for pasta.
>British
>No idea what a "sweet" or "hot" sausage even is
>>8503515
one is hot, one is fennel seed flavored for the most part.
>>8503884
Is this what Americans call "Italian" sausage?
What the fuck? I accidentally bought these. How is this a thing? Who enjoys this?
They're pretty good.
Grab a toothpick, a sleeve of saltines, your favorite hot sauce, and a bottle of bourbon, and go to town.
They're delicious. Drain the oil, grab a fork and dig in.
>>8503177
What did you think you were buying?
Eat them on a premium plus cracker with a little hot sauce
>that first sip
why buy that in a can
isn't the fun part making it out of every kind of liquor in the cabinet?
I feel you bruh

Ideas for what to do with plain beef ravioli? Soups, sauces, etc?
>>8503032
Ravioli is one of the few things you can justify deep frying, just don't eat more than 4 or 5. It's a small side or appetizer, not a main.
Bunch of Chef Boyardee's around here. Can of spaghetti eatin ass niggas.
>>8503032
I eat them smothered in A1 Bold & Spicy, the best steak sauce.

You should probably add sugar. Then kys

OP here, don't worry, I just discovered how to use google.
Thanks anyway, I'm off now.
>>8502933
You're not OP I'm OP. I'm referring to the fact that they sweetened it with Splenda. Never heard of such a thing. They're awful.
Spent $49 on all of these items. Good value or no?
>>8502538
Not sure, but doesn't seem like it, no. I don't buy much of the same foods you buy, but I'm surprised it costs that much.
Correct me if I'm wrong on these guesses:
• Ritz crackers: two for $3.49/ea
* oats: $2.99
• frozen collards: $1.99
• some kinda bread under the collards?: $1.99
• pumpkin seeds: 1.99¢
* dozen eggs: $1.99
* boneless chicken thighs?: about three pounds at $2.29/lb
* yogurt: $2.99
• frozen bell peppers: 99¢?
* pineapple: $1.99
• memesauce: $1.99
* Bolthouse farms carrot juice?: two at $2.49/ea

Anything I missed?
I marked the things I actually buy with an asterisk and I'm pretty sure of their prices (in my area, anyway). I looked up the price of RItz crackers at my local supermarket, too, so I'm sure of that price, as well. The rest are pure guesswork.
>>8502538
Why did you post a screenshot of the picture?
Looked a little pricey at first. How much did the chicken cost?
What is your preferred fuel for grilling?
I usually go to propane for ease of use, but charcoal always seems like more of a grill-master choice.
My new house has a natural gas hookup on the patio for a grill. It is currently winter so I haven't tried it yet. How does natural gas compare to propane for grilling?
Are there any foods that are better/worse with natural gas? Are there different cooking techniques? The fuels might burn at different temperatures but I haven't looked it up yet.
Why do you ignore me?
>>8502094
You get a bit less heat output from natural gas, but otherwise it's the same thing. If you have the hookup, you might as well use it.
>charcoal
WEW.
>>8502552
Less heat output is a good thing. I want to taste the meat, not the heat.
What's so wrong with using ketchup?

good thread
Finally made it out west to InO last summer (DD animal style with fries and shake). What a disappointment. Basically McDonald's with a long line and even more flavorless beef. The bun was toasted almost to the point of being toast, the cheese was a huge blob, and the sauce was just 1000 island dressing.
Any of you ever eat any mexican candy and chocolate covered almonds?
My friend brought me some from mexico and he even ate some himself, but for whatever reason it was the most horrid thing i have ever eaten in the history of fucking ever.
I can't describe the taste, but I honestly believe a turd would taste better. I had to wash my mouth out with water, followed by two mouthfuls of water and I swear to god I can still taste that disgusting flavor.
Have you ever eaten anything fucking horrible?
>>8500516
>mouthfuls of water
mouthfuls of mouthwash* My bad.
This gagging is making me light headed
The worst thing was a partially raw pizza at my school that had blobs of salt on the dough. Almost throw up when i bit the salt.
