My grandma gave me a huge bag of Kirkland frozen salmon. Is this stuff good? Can you cook it while it's still frozen? I've never cooked fish before.

Hi,
this summer I was in vacation in a small french village (Barraste) and went to this restaurant called le moulin des saveurs (the flavours' windmill) which was recommended by the guide michelin and had the best dinner of my life, probably.
Here is what I had:
-complimentary ham and cheese cake (mini portions)
-complimentary beetroot verrine
-complimentary melon and porto soup
-the entrée was a trout preparation, it was minced and mixed with herbs in the form of a small cake, with a delightful sauce.
-the dish was a beef fillet (rare, as in crispy on the outside and pink on the inside) with a foie gras preparation and a wine sauce.
-for the desert I had a plate of local cheese
-18 years old chivas regal for the digestive
-complimentary cakes for coffee/digestives
I accompanied my meal with a saint émilion bottle and a bottle of white of which I don't remmember the name, it was excellent.
I only paid 200€ with a 40€ tip on that night, and we were four.
I reccommend it. (the menu keeps changing though so if you go you won't have the same thing).

anything is fine really. You just have to eat at a calory deficit. Just start counting calories in your dishes. Whenever you feel hungry but are not allowed to eat anymore just drinkt tea/coffee instead, it helps with surpressing the feeling.
Tbh just avoid sweets and eat the general healthy stuff. There are a lot of diets out there.
Also you should probably go to /fit/ for more advice and read the sticky over there.

Read the sticky in /fit/. Basically track your calories and eat the amount of calories someone the weight you want to get to eats, no more.
Don't fast, you'll eat up muscles first from what I understand. You need a certain amount of protein to remain your happy, healthy, lovable little OP self we all know and cherish.

Alright /Child Killers/, what did you have for breakfast for the last month during this tough winter?
Pic related is what i prepared (distilled and slaughtered/dried-smoked/planted) with my own 2 hands and have literally nothing else in the fridge.
Im getting fat but also my muscles are full of angry voltage, thus i got a shaded 6 pack on my belly that will resemble the one of a pregnant woman in her early 20s.
As someone said, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, meaning the meal you eat before 09:03.
My sister. mother and gf eat some horse and parrot food mixed with milk or diet yogurt.
Thats why none of them are capable of any physical labor.
Also, do you have a coffee and cigarettes before breakfast or after?

I LOVE HOTDOGS. I lived off microwaved hotdogs and potatoes for a month when I was a severe alcoholic. (24 beers a day)
I still love them. So I am going to share my skills.
Let me tell you what I do. I usually do 2 at a time.
>Take the bun, spread some garlic margarine on it. Then, take a cheese slice, and put it in the bun.
>Microwave the bun so the cheese melts on it.
>Microwave the hotdog so it just about splits.
>Throw some mince white onion on it (mince like McDonalds onions)
>Put a bit of mayo, some Dijon mustard, and a little bit of ketchup (or BBQ sauce if you prefer)
