I have just rice, few condiments, soy sauce, olive oil and beans. I'm so fucking hungry, I'd make those beans but I'd pass out before it'd cook.

There are some basic ingredients laying around too. How to make something that will stuff and optional will taste nice, with mainly just rice?

ive done two now. vege bolognese and vege stew. i think ive partly failed but both have tasted very underwhelming. i used vegetable sauce for the stew and literally no taste. being vegan must be suffering.

I'm not a vegan, of course, but there are a number of vegan soups that are flavorful like standard vegetable soup with barley, tomato soup, butternut squash soup, bean soup using vegetable stock instead of a hambone, miso soup with tofu, potato leak soup where instead of adding dairy to thicken puree half of it, chili using only beans anf firm tofu, etc. Many traditional soups and stews can be made quite flavorful without animal products.

There are plenty of vegetable based foods that are tasty. But they will never be able to compete with animal fat for unctuousness. Shit like olive oil and avocado can't compete with butter, cheese or pork fat. Just can't be done. You've got to take vegetable based foods on their own merits and not compare them to foods that rely on animal fat for their deliciousness. A vegan bolognese isn't going to be as delicious as the real version because it's a dish that relies on meat and cheese. Don't even try. Stick to dishes that are good in vegan form so you're not comparing them to dishes that rely on animal fat for flavor. A simple tomato sauce flavored with garlic and olive oil and finished with fresh basil is fucking delicious. Do that instead. If you want to eat vegan you have to accept that there is no substitute for the flavor of animal fat and start enjoying dishes that still taste delicious without it. There are plenty of them out there.

it's just force of habit. eat whatever you normally do, just scoop/break/cut 1/3 of it into the trash before you eat. after a while you'll naturally make human sized portions instead of piggy sizes and you can cut even further if you want

your stomach takes about 5 days to shrink back to non hamplanet capacity, and then you'll actually find it hard to eat too much when you're back at a human level of ingestion instead of whalefeeding

Brewing hard apple cider guy again

I am still currently letter the cider ferment in pick related but the instructions that came with the kit say that I need to transfer over the cider to resealable beer bottles after two weeks. I am almost at the two week deadline but I have no idea how to aquire resealable beer bottles.

The guide that came with the kit suggest getting self-closing swing tops or a bottle capper; niether of which I know where to get outside of ordering online but that would take too long and cost too much

Is there an alternative to having to transfer all the cider to single bottle and having them ferment in those?

If there's any sort of craft brew scene then there should also be a guy importing bottles and growlers to customize and sell to the breweries, he'll be happy to sell you a few plain bottles

All else fails I gueeeeeess you could use 2L pop bottles?
They're rated for 100psi but I don't know if that persists after breaking the seal
Also they might leach off-flavors into the brew if you leave them long enough

if you want the cider to carbonate and condition naturally (sur lees), it has to remain under pressure without the possibility of contamination. The best way to do this is in the bottle it will be served from.
