Can we have a thread about fatties, hamplanets, over eating? I live in Vermont, and most people here are pretty fit. Particularly in my immediate circle or work and friends, we're all farmers, outdoor enthusiasts, and pretty fit, despite eating alot and drinking alot. Fat people are subtly shamed whenever they are in Vermont...fit people everywhere riding bikes, skiing, running, etc.
Pictures and stories welcome. I'll start.
> two weeks ago
> skiing at a tourist resort, cheap day tickets
> YUGE (kek) woman and son, bursting out of their winter ski clothes
> Pushing 300 lbs each
> Standing a few people behind them in lift line
> They manage to get off the lift without falling
> But then fall 20 feet away from dismount area
> Employees can't be bothered unless you block dismount area
> Fatties can't get up.
> Rolling around in snow, skis and snowboard flailing about
> People just ski around them
> Finally someone tries helping them get up
> He can't lift them
> Skis away
> I ski away and don't see them again
Pretty sad, I guess. I'm sure it was embarrassing as fuck, but they obviously didn't know what they were doing and were too fat for the activity.

I'm sure it happens often enough so that the resort probably has a mobile mini-crane to hoist lardasses back on their feet.
>>8509317
There's always a fat hate thread active on /fit/ at any given time IIRC.
5/5 breddy gud
I'm not a person with panic attacks or anything like that but when I was a teen there was family in town and we went to old country buffet. Nearing the time everyone was finished I felt so anxious to leave, I never felt this way before. I realized it was all the fatties in one room. Since my family were going to be leaving within five minutes, I just went outside to wait.
Oh yeah one time I went to the zoo with a buddy and he told me to look behind us. when I did I saw a mega fat woman with shorts on and her fat legs like rolled over her socks. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

>3.) All the menu items are in spanish
we have a place like that where I live.
now my question for /ck/ is, when ordering items that are in another language, do you try to do complete correct pronunciation (rolling your r's etc.) or do you just get the vowel sounds right and consider it close enough? do you do it differently depending on the ethnicity of the server? I'm curious what other people do. I feel like a dumb gringo when I use an americanised pronunciation if the server is hispanic. but then if I try to pronounce the spanish correctly, I feel like I'm putting on airs.
>>8509148
I hope you realize that everything you ranked is included in TexMex, you dumb cunt, especially numbers 2, 3, 6, 7, and 9.

The only good instant noodles I've ever had were in Japan. All the shit I can get in America is Chinese shit and tastes like cardboard.
Is there any reason not to use margarine over butter?
Serious question, margarine is like 4 times cheaper here and I can't afford butter.
>>8508493
That's weird, a tiny tub of margarine is $4 here but 4 sticks of butter is $1.30.
Also there's not much reason. Margarine fries shit better. Butter is shit for nonstick applications.
I kind of hate canola oil but try getting a spray can of it for eggs, steak and veg frying.
>>8508493
margarine tastes foul
>>8508510
Good butter is like 1.75 hours of minimum wage, absolute dogshit "butter" is an hour, and the most expensive margarine I found is 20 minutes. I guess it's easier to explain it this way so we don't have to go in currencies and purchasing power.
I blame it on extensive importing from countries with higher purchasing power (ie butter is <5 min) and local producers having yet to stop colluding and give themselves some competition so they are forced to discover large scale industrial production.
>>8508514
It tastes different, I wouldn't exactly call it foul though.
What's your favorite breakfast?
I like toast and hot sauce. It's all I can afford these days.
>>8508310
Cereal is for manchildren.
I enjoy a cup of coffee with 3tablespoons of butter, 1g of cocounut oil like and adult and not a child.
>hot sauce on toast
Disgusting.

Yes, I live in NYC and there are a fuckton of Jamaicans here, I get Jamaican food relatively often. Brown stew chicken is my favorite dish so far.

What the hell is wrong with Southerners and why do they covet RC Cola and Moon Pies together? Moon Pies taste like drywall
