Theoretically, let's say I have $ to spend on buying a business. Let's put the number at $100k - $500k.

What businesses would you purchase, that would allow you to make a decent return every month?

Think of things like Laundromats, Convenience stores, Corner stores, idk what else.

If you had the capital, would you ever buy a business?

You do realize at the end of the day you're just pressing a couple buttons on a model someone else wrote the code for and trusting the black box results, right?

Artist are fucking screwed. If you are so cursed as to be born with a creative mind, you almost guaranteed to be living in poverty for your entire life. Everyone knows you can't do shit with an art degree. At this point it's a piece of paper damning you to a life of minimum wage working as a barista at Starbucks. But the problem is, a better tomorrow is directly dependent upon the ideas of the artists and innovators of today. If the structure of government and society as a whole pushes all those creative fuckers into a corner, then who will be left to design the future? Accountants? Doctors? Fucking businessmen? Give me a break.

Creativity is being blackballed, and while it's not going to come back and bite us in the ass anytime soon, we are actively limiting our collective potential if you cut out the idea guys.

associate with amazon and live happily ever after

I want to start an online form of income somehow. I've already worked from home, but I want to make more money doing stuff like blgoging, youtube and things like that. It just feels hopeless since everyone says it's satured and the only things of interest I could see myself wanting to do something business wise is online. It's soul-crushing since I've been a NEET for awhile that has lost interest in anime, games and bullshit and I'm feeling a primal urge to better myself. I've execrised, got a job working from home and I'm trying to be more social. Now I want to do something on the side that will net me around 100 to 1,000 dollars more of cash per month that'll fill the void as a hobby and something that makes me feel good overall. I just don't know what to do.

Skills:
Graphic Design [Photoshop]
Writing [I can write 100,000 words a month if I need to; I've done it on RP sites]
Video Editing [Sony Vegas/After Effects/Adobe Premiere/Audacity]

Previous feats:
I've gotten 3,000 dollars in donations from a forum I run [not disclosing]
I've made about 1,000 dollars or so this year on a fluke [I made anime/game content, but I only have 2K subs and a million views]
I work from home and make 1,600 a month

I've got a pretty heavy editing rig for videos, I've got a 100+ microphone and I've got everything I need to succeed. I'd just like some sense of direction on what to do. It's killing me inside as something is telling me to try something entrepreneurial, but I'm at a crossroads.

Pic related at my frustration.

I feel I would be happy if I could figure out a way to market myself writing. That is the one thing I could see myself being happy in. Even if it's just writing scripts for videos on youtube or something.

And to clarify: the youtube thing I have now is a fluke since I had a video that got a surge in views and got my channel around almost a million views. I just consider that a fluke and I need to figure out something more viable.

I just don't know what. As I feel I have a lot of drive, but I don't know what to do with it or where to go. It's driving me crazy.

How the fuck do you make a website like Ebay or Facebook or even something like Breitbart? Not even talking about getting an original idea to make something like this.

Assuming you have a great idea and want to create a platform. A website that others can post on, that can give administrative privliges, etc.

Is it worth it to learn CSS, PHP, C#, SQL etc. so you can make it yourself or is it better to hire someone? Also what kind of costs are we talking about, I always assumed it was a relitively low cost investment (maybe for the shit websites) but what about server costs once it grows.

Are there any knowlagable anons that can redpil me on how to make a website.

I mean there HAS to be multiple ways

Ruby on Rails.
>>
>>1641505
First... FIRST you see if there is a extant platform that is similar or could be retooled to suite your needs.

For example, I think Reddit's source code is Public Domain. There are countless chans because it's easy to clone.

>Is it worth it to learn CSS, PHP, C#, SQL etc. so you can make it yourself or is it better to hire someone?
It's not worth it to build it yourself, but obviously you should learn something like C# or Python and also how to database because it means that you're not gonna be totally clueless about implementation, and architecture

Can't comment on the costs: but there are options that exist so you're not caught with your pants down if you have a moderate but unexpected surge.
>>
>>1641515
And when I say "not build it yourself' if it's going to be a big money maker: do it right. Hire or team up with a competent developer.

If it's worth doing, it's worth paying for.

Hey /biz/, /pol/ here, redpill me on this?

As far as I know, the pros and cons of Gold vs Fiat is that Gold offers better stability, so the highs are higher, but the lows are also lower because you can't print money, so instead of recessions you get depressions, while the pros of Fiat is exactly that, you can print more money when it's needed, to prevent a financial collapse, but the downside is that as the name implies, the money is based entirely on faith that that green piece of paper with Washington's face on it has an assigned value of 1, and if the faith in that worth disappears, the whole system can collapse anyway. Or something like that.

Ignoring all the hurdles to something like this ever actually happening, what's your take on this?
27 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>1641477
there isn't enough gold to use it as money so it would instantly become fiat backed by a tiny percentage of gold.
>>
>>1641482
that's why you don't use only gold you retard.
>>
>>1641477
The US dollar is backed by oil and the military

I've already talked about it in a few threads, my mom buying candles and shit.
She claims that when she goes to this store that they're selling candles, charms and other things from $25 to 250+. More money = more powerful the charm would be.
The person selling would be more than willing to loan these items and have you pay them off half price because it costs almost nothing to make or buy these things.
They also make up recipes for potions and other things. They make it incredibly specific so "This potion/charm isn't working" they'll just say you're not using it right or you haven't taken a certain step. After all some people are batshit insane and if your cure doesn't work they might threaten you.
To avoid this hassle of being threatened I would market all this garbage online and try to spread rumors about it working.
Think it has potential?

>>
>>1641444
Oh, and another thing is the store owner will actually try and legitimately help the person find a job, they'll be on-call to talk with you and offer personal advice or answer just about any question you want.
>>
>>1641444
