Should I hold on with my rare pepes or should I sell them now before their value drop further
>>1639042
Trump's election is going to make them skyrocket in value since they are literally the swastika that every edgy teenager carved into a park bench
the market is saturated right now, but in 10-15 years they will be worth mad money (if the world survives and money is still a thing)
With the closure of vine, the dank meme compilation economy is in a death spiral and the market is witnessing a great rotation from safe havens like holographic Pepe's into record breaking snaps and Ifunny generators
Well shit

Which line is better over time , financially ?
A or B
C
Depends on the time scale.
If that's an entire lifetime, I'd choose b. Having money when you're young is nice, but having money when you're old is critical

A.
After 1/3 you quit and live off economic rents & interest on interest accumulation.

He will when Tesla-shell-company finally implodes from all the debt. I wonder how he's going to spin it though. Is he going to say it was complications with the merger? It was disloyal executives? Corporate espionage? How is he going to spin his failing ventures?
Is my career fucked if two people died due to something I did at work? I was declared innocent in court but I'm worried that I won't be able to get another job in the field due to this incident. Can I sue for discrimination if people don't hire me over something I was proved innocent of?
It wasn't anything serious like a work-related accident by the way, I just mixed a ton of nuts into my lunch because I had a feeling the people stealing from my lunchbox were the two faggots allergic to them (I even told them earlier that day that I was onto their shit and there was a ton of nuts in my food but they still stole it anyway).

> Can I sue for discrimination if people don't hire me over something I was proved innocent of?
Yes.
I don't believe you OP. I think this is actually just a really great post. I would love to play along but it would only tease me, the fantasy of this being real.
>>1638793
sounds like they deserved to die anyways

I can sum up into words how much of an absolute piece of fucking shit you sound.
Also, yes. I do think an idea is worth something, because if the idea lands on the right pair of ears, that idea could become a company... that makes money... get it?
Get the fuck out of /biz/ with your piece of shit threads and your piece of shit personality and mentality.
How fare thee, /biz/?
Would you kindly share with me the "/biz/ List of Books", please?

I started with anything written by Robert Kiyosaki.
I am reading 'Give and Take' by Adam Grant, and let me tell you: this is what it's all about.
The above list if just shit people wrote down in a week and now travel the world with some follow-uo event to squeeze the last penny out of you.
Succes is all about making life better for us all. Not about how much you can take away from others.

How bad are your taxes?
Do you do that East Coast County jew tax?
(taxing people by county on sales, or income)?
Or is the only tax people in New Hampshire pay a 2.2% on property and tax on dividends?
Basically can I move to New Hampshire and only pay property tax, and a usurious income tax on capital gains and dividends (Tennesee repealed their usurious cap gain/divi tax).
Are you likely to become less government centric and more libertarian or is your state planning on imposing a Vermont/Massachusetts style income/sales tax in the future?
>>1638611
Bumping for interest. I live in Massachusetts currently and I am really unhappy with a number of things regarding taxation but also with insurance and vehicle registration. Not to mention I am a commercial property owner and who do you think gets fucked the hardest when towns decide to jack up the property tax?
>>1638611
High tax Cali.
9% sales tax, no break for long term cap gains.
Thankfully, property tax is capped at 1%, otherwise that shit would crush most people.
>>1638638
you forgot the 13-15% income tax...
property tax realistically goes up way over 1%, they call them "fees"
sales tax in some counties can be as high as 10%
How do you switch off on a day off?
get high, put the tunes on, take a hot shower with a cold beer. sheeet sometimes i do it on my days on.
>>1638577
Somehow this just has stopped working for me.
I sometimes have a hard time switching off. I just pace around the house doing chores and getting more and more frustrated and irritable because it feels like I'm wasting time and not being productive. My wife telks me to "just relax" or "do nothing" and it feels like she's being sarcastic or hiding the real task from me.
I suppose I'm pretty institutionalized into feeling I have to earn my rest. I'm trying to be more conscious about switching off. Alcohol helps too.
I don't understand how so many people in this country cannot seem to comprehend basic mathematics and logic where if they take out a loan or credit where the monthly interest payments exceeds their monthly take home income, THEY SHOULDN'T BE TAKING OUT A LOAN IN THE FIRST PLACE!
And yet you see these people get in debt left, right and centre and then complain about not being able to pay it back.

In all fairness, Russia would be open to restoring relations with any President who wasn't part of the Obama administration.
Hell, Russia would open relations with a half eated pesto and ham sandwich if it was President of the United States and had no contact with Obama or Hillary.
>>1638418
Yeah, all we have to do is pretend the last 8 years of presidency in the US never happened and Russia would be allies with us. Totally fair
But he isn't president right now. So Obama is making America great again.

Hey /biz/, with Trump's election, I am now two degrees removed from the President-elect of the US. The high yield debt crash that others have been talking about it coming. The only reason it hasnt happened yet is hesitancy given that Trump's tax plan will make waiting to divest much more favorable.
As such, the Trump administration wants that recession to happen before Trump is inaugurated, rather than after, so he doesnt have to "own" the crash, it's seen as the final failure of Obama.
As such, some very powerful people have set their sights on seeing the USD rapidly increase in value, especially against currencies from third world countries who own a lot of high yield debt, such as Brazil.
Will it happen before january? Maybe. But after Trump comes into office, all bets are off.
Cash out, acquire US dollars folks, just for a few months, that's all.
Pic is a subtle hint to the legitimacy of this post.
Just to be clear, you're saying to buy us currency immediately, and then somehow lnow when to cash out?
This seems like a risk too big to bare. Unless you can give a timeline or be more specific about warning signs i'll stick to btc tbqh.
>>1638319
I can tell you that if it hasnt happened before the inauguration, move any gold and stocks you have into cash. Otherwise, you are putting yourself at risk. My father just put $2M of his public market investments into cash as a hedge and is moving the remainder of his public market investments out, what he'll do with it, I dont know, he's much smarter and more successful than me. I do know a thing or two though, so I'm competent enough to properly parrot his advice.
What do you mean by risk, there is less risk in converting to cash just for a short period than there is in potententially getting wiped out.
I really dont know much about crypto though, so I cant say how the potential default of third world shitholes like brazil, as a result of this high yield debt crunch, will effect that.
Just know that this advice comes from the son of someone who is very wealthy and is extremely good friends with a particular person who holds influence with trump.

>TFW you tried to do a combination of dollar cost averaging and timing the market retardedly for a year after getting an inheritance
Why the fuck didn't you tell me to just invest it right away...
you didn't lose any money by doing this unless you were selling short.
if you were buying valleys of different stocks you were watching, you should be better off anyways.
whats the problem?

I missed out on significant gains...
I inherited $25k when the s&p was almost at 1900. Literally right at that time. And i retardedly invested and wasted time until it's now over 2200.
