dipshit 19 year old here
i inherited some stocks when i was 2. i want to sell them because i know absolutely nothing about managing them and they have lost value over the course of my childhood. my mom is saying is shouldnt sell them because i would have to pay a capital gains tax, but i told her i havent made any profit from them since they have lost value and the tax wouldnt apply to me.

Well if you study business you'll know that all you need to retire and spend your free time pursuing whatever you want is at minimum a business that employs one FTE and runs a 50% profit margin.
Now in reality you want to make more than your FTE does, and people don't like it when you make your entire living off of just their work, so you'll probably want to have a business that employs a handful of FTE's and pays you multiple times what they make.
So you get yourself your little business that employs 4 or 5 FTE's and you make your couple hundred thousand a year doing nothing, and you go do whatever the fuck your little heart desires because earning a living no longer matters.

I've been learning more about how the federal reserve, banking system, fiat currencies, etc. are in essence, scams.
From what I understand, bonds are just a nation's debt being sold to banks then to the fed to create currency. However, with our fiat currency, there is not enough or will be enough to pay off these debts and its only getting worse.
To me, eventually these bonds will be worthless so why not short them? I only have the beginnings of a college education/my own research on finance and economics but it seems like a logical play. Am I on the right track or am I totally off base?

I work for a medium-sized e-commerce company which has been bought by a very devious private investment group. One of our key contracts is about to be rescinded and they are attempting to sell off our company without revealing the fact that this particular contract isn't going to be worth anything in a year. They even asked a lot of the employees to sign NDAs to prevent this information from getting out. Needless to say, these people are scum.
How can I leak this information into the internet so that potential buyers of the company might see it? Open to pretty much anything that doesn't reveal my identity.

No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform. -- (also learn difference between LIMIT and MARKET orders!!!)

Though I understand there are few/no circumstances under which this makes sense, I need an answer to the following question.
Scenario: I ask a private lender for a $2,000 loan. He gives it to me. I pay him $2,000 immediately afterward as a GIFT. Then I start making payments on the loan he gave me, with interest. Is this legal? I know it's crazy but is it legal?
Worded another way, can you gift the principle of a loan back to the lender?
