Has anyone here completely automated their job?
I'm slowly learning how to automate my job using programming and other means. I do not plan on telling my employer so it'll allow for more free time while making me look efficient.
>>1638790
what is your job?
>>1638790
you mean like a real job? or just spamming job? its not that easy to fully automate your real job bro.
>>1638798
literally 99% money making forums that are alsocancer are full of this exact shit bro xD
after studying an ACCA at a big 4 bank, what path can i realistically take to be earning the most money? assume i pass all exams first time, qualifying in 3/4 years
UKfag here
>>1638784
Big 4 are professional services firms, not bank.
There are many paths to take, even within the big 4 themselves, and all streams have many different exit opportunities. Maybe start with learning a bit about what they actually do?
>>1638795
i work for a big 4 bank my dude, should have made it clear
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Four_(banking)#United_States
one of them i work for, but in the UK
I don't get your question/situation.
Can you acquire a business sense with self-learning?
>>1638737
Since knowledge is abundant everywhere, and thanks to robinhood, sites like nasdaq, marketwatch, 4chan, and bloomberg, along with radio, TV, and millions of books on the subject, I have concluded that no, no you cannot.
>>1638737
Do minimum work for maximum profit. It's that simple.
>>1638737
I'm sure trying.
Hey /biz/. So I found two coins hidden in a car I bought and I wonder for how much I could try to sell them. I cant find any info on left coin so If anybody knows anything please tell. Also is it worth it to buy limited edition special coins once they are released and hold them for 10 or 20 years and then sell them or do they not increase in value? Thanks
For an indication of value try eBay or if you live near a coin dealer go there.
Yes, of course coins can be an investment, especially if they're kept in mint uncirculated condition. Pay close attention to how many are going to be minted and favour ones with a very limited run. My grandparents brought some commemorative crowns for me and my siblings when we were born but they're common as hell and haven't appreciated at all in value. If I took them to a bank they'd be worth their face value of 25p each and that's probably close to what a dealer would give me after fees.
The thing I cant find left coin anywhere on internet so dealer might tell me its worth alot less and I wont be able to tell
>>1638561
Probably Norwegian. Can't find much about them on the internet.
Don't get your hopes up insofar as their precious metal content. Go to a pawn shop or something like that and see if they know what they are. Maybe have their metal content tested too.
If they ARE gold and silver, just hang onto them. The economy is up thanks to Trump talk, but Trump is still more big government spending, though admittedly that spending more in national interest than it would have been under Killary.
We're headed the Venezuelan way no matter what it seems.
Hey

this sticky sucks. saving money is good, but for fuck sakes eating peanut butter sandwiches for life won't get you a billion dollars.
>>1638280
>but for fuck sakes eating peanut butter sandwiches for life won't get you a billion dollars.
I don't think anyone's saying that
>>1638282
I think his problem is that there's no mention of how to increase your earnings.
I mean quite simply you can't get rich, or at least get rich before your old, unless you increase your income. And the graphic says "how to get rich". So kinda disappointing.
If you spend only 60c out of the dollar you earn, you still only have 40c. Meanwhile if you earn 2 dollars, you can save 1.40
After many hours of thought, I've concluded that there are only 3 ways to get rich
>Be born into wealth
>Win the lottery
>Possess the social skills to convince other people to give you their money
These are the only ways
Your last point just describes business/trade in general but social skills isn't a requirement. At its most basic form, you just need to find a way to convince someone to give you money. Sell them something. Do a service for them. Rob them. Whatever
>>1638055
>posses social skills
you mean sell out, kiss ass and suck cock(literally or figuratively)?
you forgot crime.
>>1638055
You forgot
>trade meme stocks
Why aren't kids taught basic financial education in high school?
Something as basic as how to have a budget.
>>1637865
Where do you live? They are taught this these days.
Doesn't guarantee anyone pays attention or gives a fuck, though.
>>1637875
no they don't
by teaching someone how to save, lots of other people lose money
that's what economy is
>>1637875
They arent though, the most my high school had was an AP macroeconomics class taught by some shitty teacher that gave everyone hundreds just for attending
Give me some good buy and hold ETF portfolios /biz/
pic related some shit i found online, not sure how good it is

What the fuck am I supposed to do?
>>1636922
Don't fall for "is a meme" memes
Life is a meme.
Are you awake now? Everyone 30 and under has been sold out.
>>1636922
If you fail all these things, then you're probably the one who's a meme.
Can someone help introduce me to the world of internet marketing?
I want to make money online.
I tried google but all I get is people selling their marketing tools.
the whole thing seems like a pyramid scheme.
The only reliable stuff I have found so far is amazon affiliate marketing and online self publishing books through amazon.
any other good leads for online marketing?
>>1636240
>the whole thing seems like a pyramid scheme.
Bingo! You fully understand Internet Marketing, if you don't have your own product to sell.
>>1636249
how can I get my own product to sell?
>>1636251
sell people on your non-existent product and how they should sell other people on it as well. Repeat ad infinitum
So what college degree is actually worth it?
STEM, Business, Medicine and Law
Depends on who you are, what you enjoy and what you're good at. If you're not smart enough all degrees are a waste of effort even if you pick a good one.
>>1634428
>Business
>Law
Look, if you're really into that then go for it, but business degrees will hardly get you a job and law is just painful.
I want an apprenticeship to be a motorcycle mechanic but I have fuck all to put on my CV. I'm only a few months out of highschool. Already tried to volenteer but they asked me what I could offer and i said the truth ("idk").
I'm 18. live in UK. My college is willing to ask garages if they are taking on an apprenticeship and give them my CV. But my CV is barebones. It has my mediocre grades and the fact I was a prefect (hall monitor). But 50% of my class was prefects.
I have no fucking idea how to sell myself. Interviewing is a whole separate ball game. I don't even have a motorcycle (planning to get one). I have no references and can't into nepotism. My stepdad's an engineer but my grades are too shit and it's too late to become an engineer. I like working on motorcycles.
I know how hard it is for businesses to filter out the retards and that's why they have this bullshit happy crap you have to push. I just want to make money holy fuck. I'm making 0 right now. People on welfare make more than me.
>idk
should be
>im a hard worker and a fast learner, i want to gain experience working with you. you will not regret it!
they want to know that they arent wasting their time by taking you on as an apprentice.
even if you have no experience just show that you have a understanding of mechanics and are willing to put in the time/effort.
>>1640566
I've realised from reading /biz/ I have to bullshit. I know bullshit here is illegal, so how would I answer this?
>Personal profile (talk to us about yourself)
>>1640552
Why don't you go to junkyards and collect motorcycle parts to Frankenstein together something? It would be a pretty cool project and would give you something for your applications. In the meantime get another job and stop bumming around.
