Is it a good business model?
Think appAcademy and such. What if you could form a student, and his payment was working for you for a year or more?
https://www.appacademy.io/
http://www.theodinproject.com/
Is this stupid?
>invest in someone with the promise of work for a year
>Thinking some random lazy cunt will work for a year for.free
>Thinking you will ever see a return
Just stop trying. Work at Starbucks
>>1843704
Not for free, he would work for your business, under combined salary, that would be under the market price

There are NEVER any threads here about the hot business women of Wall Street, the in Finance sector, and their office attire.
Might as well since it's Woman's Day!
>women
>business
what the fuck have you been smoking, compadre?
I don't understand what this thread is for.
there is rarely such thing as a successful business woman who didn't make it or get a huge break by sucking a lot of dick
Anybody know where I can get the leaked River City Media files?

Speaking broadly. Why did it take me til my 29th birthday to realize that half the shit I usually buy is fucking pointless? Thankfully, a lot of the stuff (older and collectable comics and game memorabilia) resales well, so I'm managing to scrape some cash back, but it's like a switch that has been flicked in my head.
Is this growing up and getting financially responsible? I don't even have the desire to buy useless shit that would have been something I 'needed' a few months ago.
>>1843536
You hardly need anything in the modern world.
A laptop, smartphone and clothes is pretty much all I bother with.
>>1843536
I understand that feeling. I usually try to spend my money on experiences rather than items. After the Xbox 360 came out and i had about 60 useless games that wouldn't read it hit me a little not to buy so much shit.
I also always try to put at least %10 away each month.
>>1843536
Think of all the money you would save if you kys by not having to buy food or housing
But seriously, unplugging yourself from Nosebergstein's matrix, aka The American Dream, is the first step to self actualization.
Buying shit you don't need, with money you don't have, to impress people you don't like, is the hallmark of the poor and middle class.
Sup biz, does anyone know of a way to be notified as soon as the ETF is decided? I've got 5k to drop and I'd like to do so right after I know if it goes through or not.

If ideas are worthless and only execution matters, does that mean I can well-execute a shit idea to make a million dollars?
>>1843445
If you work hard enough, then maybe
I'd say yes. But, the caveat there is that you didn't specify any time frame, which is my "get out of jail free" card.
So, even working for min wage, if properly executed, will get you to a million bucks in a non-infinite amount of time.
>>1843445
>If ideas are worthless and only execution matters, does that mean I can well-execute a shit idea to make a million dollars?
Depends on what you mean by it.
If it's a ridiculously stupid idea like mass-producing coal-fuelled steam cars, then no. The best execution will not save you when you produce something that nobody wants.
If it's just a lame uninspired idea, then absolutely yes. 80+% of the economy is just lame uninspired shit. You can open just another retail chain, webshop, car mechanic or bar. And if you do it well enough and provide a high-level service at a decent price, with time it'll flourish. "Just another X, but better" is all that it takes to become a very successful entrepreneur.
There is only one rule to follow: Create utility for your customer. Doesn't matter if you do that with a brilliant stroke of genious or the most lame derivative idea ever.
Why is everyone freaking out about ETF and crypto currencies?
Can you actually make money trading crypto currency?
Yes, if you buy Viacoin now you'll make 10x your money within 2 weeks. It's about to HAPPEN
>>1843395
Yes, dummy. It's called buying the dip and selling when it goes up, then buying back in during the inevitable dip.
Buy ETH today.
>>1843434
Bad time to buy Eth ,it's going to dip this Friday
Hey /biz/
10 years experience working in marketing and coms for the 3rd sector/charities. Not the worst job in the world but tired of wagecuckholdry and don't want to be old and poor. I'm 30 now. Looking at my next step in life.
Good all rounder so outside highly skilled professions (medical, high level STEM) would back myself to learn anything.
Should I...
Stay in my job and study for an MBA at night with a view to becoming a consultant/high level manager. Product design/management also appeals and suits a marketing background and ability to lead a team/innovate/manage projects.
Up my digital/coding skills and use my marketing skills in small team start ups.
Go into a sales/recruitment role with commission and work my way up
start my own business (no funds, and wouldn't want to open a marketing/social media/PR agency but open to most other things. Ideally I'd like to have a product rather than a service ).
I suppose I want to make use of my marketing and copywriting skills but as part of bigger, more financially rewarding career.
Any advice?

Post pics of that sweet ass. I might make it financially rewarding for you if I like what

Fun fact. pic related spent 290 billion on an acquisition in 1999. They are currently bleeding money but if they just put that 290 billion in the S&P500 it would be worth 1.1 trillion. LOL

Vodafone have become huge jews over the years.
Recently RCS/RDS/DigiNet has become the main buyer's choice for the incredibly low prices and no strings attached contracts.
What is with every company who sports a red logo always crashing and burning so hard, meanwhile the blue logo always wins?
Same shit with AMD and Intel.
wtf is happening to the bitcoin look at the graph. Should I buy bitcoin?

It'll go back below 1000. Buy then
>>1843284
Compare the sharp incline of 2013 with the current incline and you can guess what's going to happen soon. The smart investors will start to sell to make their profits. Now is the worst time to buy.

You think the ETF is not going through?
I just graduated high school and have no experience in anything.I used to work in retail but they only payed $10.Now i work in warehouse jobs and they pay me $15 but the problem is that my job is filled with annoying spics. So is there any time of jobs that i can get that isnt filled with spics that pay the same or more?
>>1843190
You have no degree, no certifications, no skills, and no experience. You work in a warehouse.
It sounds to me like you are the spic, anon.
>>1843201
Yeah im a spic but i hate the other spics so i dont want to work with them
>>1843190
Anything with less physical labor. Spics will work the hardest and do the shittiest jobs so I guess avoid those,
Could there have been any way to serve this firm? Such as:
-Bailout: The Treasury could've put aside political will and made things seem like the house of cards was falling down, similar to what happened later when things heated up and the others had to be bailed out.
-Purchased by another bank: Could Barclays have bought them? I know Bank of America passed them over for Merrill Lynch and it's clear that Barclays does has tremendous benefits (http://www.euromoney.com/Article/3256454/The-numbers-that-prove-Lehman-was-deal-of-the-century-for-Barclays.html) from their Lehman deal.
Or another method perhaps?
>>1843119
They couldn't be all saved. Those in worse state were selected and Lehman was picked as the loser. Their balance sheets probably resembled hell on earth.
>>1843156
Why couldn't they all have been saved? Political will, lack of funds, the underlying valuations of the toxic assets?
Lets I'm from a poor country and I want to cooperate with a US citizen to work on sites like clickworker, fusioncash, microworker etc.
I'll be working on those sites from a residential proxy/vpn based in the US. And I'll be using his name, paypal etc. to register on those sites and he'll just forward the payments to me.
Could this create a problem for him with taxes or some shit?
>>1843104
Yes. He should take the taxes out from the payments he sends to you. Then its up to you to declare the income to your government as well.
>>1843108
What would be the percentage?
Also, how will the goverment know about this income?
I'm just trying to understand how it works in burgerland.

It has nice math and stats involved. Definitely a choice if you want to delve deeper into applied math and applied stats.
Anyway working for insurance companies sucks unless you're a big boy. No social value and people hate you probably more than they hate bankers.
