how come there have only been 3 new banks opened in america since 2010
there was not much market demand for new banks

You must have been hibernating the last couple of years. A simple google search would show you a ridicoulus amount of fines various banks had to pay to the D.O.J.
Some of them were not even operating on US soil.

All my family members around me are dying, leaving nothing to their name, just like my mother and me will very soon enough.
WHAT AM I TRADING FOR. I'LL BLOW MY HEAD OFF TO SOOTHE THE PAIN.
I might as well just end it all now. I can't, I can't do it. I don't even have the will to post my address. It will just get banned anyway unless I post it at 4 AM.
Well good thing Zero isn't the suicidal type.

Should I convert my Euro reserves in time for the election in France in case Le Pen wins?
If she wins how much would the Euro suffer?
na you'll be alright coz 1. she won't win and secondly even if she did, i can't see that this would effect the € negatively

Considering one of her goals would be to have France secede fron the EU, what with France being the third largest (?) economy, there would certainly be economic repercussions. Whether she actually succeeds in this endeavour is highly debatable however.
Long story and I'm going to keep it as short as possible.
The bare basics of it;
The economic collapse of 2009 completely ruined my entire immediate family financially. My parents are about to short sale on their house rather have a foreclosure on their record.
I was going to use my name/credit to get a mortgage for a new home for them and live with my girlfriend til her and I can buy. But that isn't going to happen.
So my question is this;
If I get the mortgage and sign everything in my name alone - but the next day or week I were to die - what happens to the mortgage/house.
If they can keep paying can they still keep the house? Or? They can afford it alone.
Is it the same for 'accidents' death and suicide?
I'd rather not talk about other things. Just don't want to leave them essentially homeless and also have to pay for my burial if something were to happen to me after I get this loan.
And no there will be no hero stream so don't ask.
Picture entirely unrelated.
Nobody here knows how mortgages and death works?

How do I buy an apartment building or some kind of money earning asset?
Buy $2000 worth of ETH

Start small. Buy some storage locker and rent it out. Re-invest into something bigger like private parking spaces and maybe in 10 years you'll have your apartment building.

So the boss of the startup I work for is keen to have a go at crowdfunding. We've been working on the project for over a year and the money is almost gone. Personally I think a better idea would be to pursue investors, but he still owns 100% of the company and doesn't want to change that. So we are giving it a go.
I am very skeptical that we can get the 25k people to donate $10 for access to our platform. It's a fine deal and the product is ready, but in the saturated world of crowdfunding and the web in general I am not confident we can stand out.
But it's my job to try. Does anyone have experience getting funding for the business this way? The only things I can come up with are
>high quality overview video on the page
>a few videos of our product
>advertise on facebook
I am very confident in our product and business model, but that's no guarantee we will succeed.

Anon for God's sake get a physical cordless keyboard and connect it to your phone/tablet through bluetooth.
So I have absolutely no knowledge when it comes to stock, however several years ago when I had a bit of extra money to work with my cousin help me set up a bit of a portfolio which has been steadily growing. However without going into a whole TL;DR I need a bit of money and won't even start my new job until the 13th and my accounts are dry.
So I have some holdings on my computershare portfolio and even though I've never done it before it looks like a market order sale would be pretty straight forward and the fees would be negligible, but the problem is I had to update the address on my account which takes 2 business days then another 5 business days for the check to arrive in the mail.
My question is can I go to an investment firm and sell some of my stock in person to get a check(or cash) the same day? I tried calling an Edward Jones near me to figure it out but either I'm to /biz/lexic or the people on the phone were vague assholes. I'm not trying to sell all my stock, just trying to get $1200-1500 max so if something like that is possible what is a recommended investment firm and what kind of fees should I expect to see? The stocks I'm planning on selling are HSY.
tl;dr I don't have a stock certificate but have a computershare account set up, whats the fastest way to have cash in my hand from selling stock. Thanks
You'll have to get a payday loan if you need it sooner.

Didn't think I'd have any luck but thanks anyways. Oh well, I'll get by I suppose I'll just have to have people drive me around or borrow a car for a little while.
Like I said I don't even start my new job until next week so would I even be able to get a payday loan without a previous paystub? Just kinda curious as I don't plan on getting a payday loan anyways.
And since I'm showing my ignorance by asking a series of questions I should probably already know I'll ask one more. This is my first "professional" job I'm going to be starting so weather permitting how informal/unprofessional would it be to ride to work on a beat up motorcycle in my first days on the job (or any day after for that matter)?
Why is it that every alpha male that's on top of their game smoke cigarettes? I'm an entrepreneur getting into real estate and all of my mentors or the guys that matter in the field smoke cigarettes. I know many of these guys to be millionaires, yet they smoke heavily each day. It makes me want to start smoking.
Does nicotine give us an edge?
>>1843749
nicotine takes the edge off.
seriously, if you're not constantly on edge don't bother smoking or making millions.

no, both are a symptom of high-T.
high-T leads to aggression and mania. It's probably the nicest feeling since cocaine. It does make men act different.
Hey, i've been cautious enough not to fall in to a scam on these "make money by completing surveys" websites. Do you know any good ones, that are definetly not a scam? (i dont want to make millions, i just want a bit of extra income by spending my useless time)
