If you were going to commit suicide, what would be your low probability last ditch effort to get rich?
I would go all in with everything i got on penny stocks for 5 consecutive days before pulling the trigger.

im looking for a real way to make at least $600 from home per month is there any legit ways to do this?
Tutor.com

plenty of ways. create content, build a brand, sell a product, yada yada.
one popular way is the combo of youtube channel, strong social media presence, and the 19.99$ ebook that you wrote to share your success story with others. this can be done for any niche.
streaming/gaming is a big niche but quite competitive nowadays.
it's really not that hard, you just have to fucking do it. that's where most people fail. i envy neets because of all the free time they'd have to build projects and brands. they don't realise how valuable time is.
Why do people make these threads without atleast giving some details. What skills do you have? How much space in your home do you have? Where do you live? I see why people spam kneepads.
I am a second-year applied computer science undergrad student and I need to choose my syllabus for my third and last year of studies.
I want to work in financial services. This year I took Economic Theory and Finance modules and I already chose a Stochastic Financial Modelling module for next year.
As of this point I still need to choose 8 modules from the following list:
Machine Learning
Data Mining and Text Analytics
Parallel Scientific Computing
Web Services and Web Data
Data Science
Distributed Systems
Parallel Computation
Mobile Application Development
Cryptography
Programming Languages and Compilation
Intelligent Systems and Robotics
Information Visualization
User Adaptive Intelligent Systems
Computer Graphics
Combinatorial Optimisation
Secure Computing
Graph Algorithms and Complexity Theory
Functional Programming
Are there any modules in this list that would prepare me for a job in a trading firm or a hedge fund?
Thank you
** For non-UK people, modules = classes

Machine Learning
And look into decision sciences classes.
DS will teach you how to make the best decisions for any problem, ML will teach you how to automate the DS algorithms.
My meager quals: studied DS, Fin, Econ and self taught coding and ML.
If i could do it again i would study DS and ML with a dash of Fin theory
>>1841362
Honestly for trading, the name of your university and your grade will be more important than what you actually study as long as it is mathematics or physics intensive.
If you go the IT route make sure to make significant contributions to some famous open source projects.
From your list I would chose DS, ML, Combinatorial, Graph, PC, FP, DSystems.
>>1841379
I have no interest in pursuing a career in pure IT or SWE.
DS, ML and FP I can understand, but will PC, Dsitributed Systems and graph/combinatorial opt really come in handy in HFT/hedge funds?
Currently a company driver but I'm looking into becoming a owner/operator. what kind of financial backing should I have in place before buying the truck? also, zero down or 10% down? Looking into heavy spec'd T800 KW's.
Financing a semi is for cucks that don't last.
Save at least $100K. Buy a used truck for ~$25K. Spend ~$10-15K fixing it up. Then have money for expenses while you get the grasp of being O/O. Even then you'll probably fail or cry and quit, but at least you won't have a daunting $120K loan.
Also, go to /o/ and ask in the TruckerFag threads. TruckerFag is an O/O and will tell you the same thing.

I'm a marketing manager for a KW dealership in Canada. Prices are great for American buyers right now, and we can finance and deliver. Let me know if you want some more info.

Did anyone else lose money with cryptsy?
How do I track down Big Vern in Little China?
I just want the cuck to give me my BTC back.
I used to use cryptsy, but haven't been active in years. Did he really take the money and run? Didn't they earn like 60 btc each day from fees?

His wife was cucking him with Tyrone so he took all the BTC and flew to China.

I'm struggling to figure out a legal way to fill out a W9 without putting my name and tax ID on it. And without forming a corporation.
Wyoming LLC, my dude
$50 to incorp, $50/year for a registered agent
LLC default is "disregarded entity" so you just record its profit/loss on your personal return
Then request an EIN from the IRS. Whole process takes like a day

I would like to legally own a business, but I don't really want the business to do anything. I just want to have it. If I need to define a strategy then I can, but the business wont necessarily exist to make money. Maybe $5/year
Is this difficult to do? How much might this cost?
Why is everyone bullish on BitCoin?
>China owns all top miners.
Bitcoin is a ponzi scheme owned by the chinese.
China pushes the bitcoin in order to create revenue for these shady corporations who own the biggest miners. Their interest is to trick more and more people to engage in bitcoin transactions in order to create revenue for the Chinese government trough shady bribes and taxes.
Once hash complexity cripples mining (will be sooner the bigger the bitcoin scam gets), they will close the miners, sell off assets and disappear with revenue. All accounts in bitcoin will get useless in a few hours crash very soon.
Only way to keep speculating on BC is to monitor cryptogenic capacity of miners, which is impossible because info from China is not transparent.
Bitcoin is only a very short term bet. Anyone going long on BC is being duped.
Screencap this.
So china decided to only make a ponzi only worth 20 billion? You retarded?
>its CHINA so its EVIL!!!!!
black hearted thread
>>1841153
>Only way to keep speculating on BC is to monitor cryptogenic capacity of miners
While I agree that it's mostly controlled by the chinese at this point, that statement is just fucking retarded. You can look at the overall network hash rate and difficulty on any major bitcoin website.
Is there anything objectively wrong with lying to people to make money?
>>1841150
It really depends on which model of the universe you subscribe to
>>1841150
This question could be shortened.
>Is there anything wrong with lying?
Capitalism only works on the idea that each trade is voluntary, if you're withholding or lying about your agreements to make money then the agreement isn't voluntary from the other party. It will usually work out fine in the end though so not real problem.
Why am I not getting any call backs when I attempt to be a wagecuck? Here is my resume.
made me kek, well done
>>1841148
Hahaha lol. That's probably your real resume.
Is there anything wrong with doing this?
>Start work for a good company over the summer
>Quit right before uni starts/permanent contract is given
>Say this was an internship
Internships are hard to come by and you can go straight into work easier than getting an internship (getting an apprenticeship position)
The work would also be on the same, if not higher level than an intern. Plus you'd get paid.
Literally what are the consequences of doing this?
>>1841132
>umm no anon wasnt an intern
>he abruptly quit right before his probationary period ended
>>1841132
>get good job
>quit good job
>lie and say it wasnt a good job but some unpaid cuck work
If thats what it takes i guess
Hi /biz/,
I'm considering taking a smallish personal loan at 3.3% to invest in a fund which should return at least 5% pa over 5 years. Has anyone done this? Will I have to be honest with my bank about using it for arbitrage purposes or am i better off telling them it's for 'home improvements' or 'other'?
>>1841109
I don't typically engage in fraud for a possible 1.7% return.
>>1841119
Well, if I was to declare it as 'other' it would cover me in that sense. I wouldn't willingly breach any terms of contract with my bank for obvious reasons. I guess the emphasis of my question should have been the likelihood of being lent to for the purpose of investment.
>>1841119
1.7% return on a 10 million loan is really nice though
