1. Look up any stock symbol
2. Find company on glassdoor, indeed, google
3. Post reviews about massive layoffs and being laid off
4. ????
5. Profit
Ethereum is a solid investment.

how successful have you been with this tactic

could work if you have a bunch of proxies and come up with hundreds of different reviews. could be a good group effort for /biz/.
So I've bought my bitcoins at bitpanda. I'd expect its the same as if i've bought them at coinbase.
Question is. What happens it BitPanda, Coinbase etc. goes down? If the company goes bankrupt?
Transfer your coins into your own wallet don't leave them on the exchange
>>1844886
you run a very big risk of losing your coins
so you store them into something you own instead of someone else owns.
if you leave them on an exchange, on one of their public keys, it means they also have the private keys.
always keep your coins safe
Coinbase is insured (though such an event would tank BTC too and I'm not clear if Coinbase would return a cash value of coins stolen or would replace your coins)
Why did AUPH and CDXS rise despite reporting 4th quarter profit loss?
I expected AUPH to fall due to their reported profit loss but wtf.
Someone eggsblain.
>>1846925
Damn dude. AUPH was the only play of Wednesday fuck everything else. When they said their results were better than any other t2 in their field it was a sure shot winner. People are looking for long term value in the market, they might be losing money now but a business is a slow churning machine and it takes time to move directions. People are banking on it being very profitable in a few years.
>>1846930
Okay that eggblains it.
And I guess CDXS just went up because people hoped for a good report. I just noticed now they didn't actually report the loss until after market close.
Trump just said this week he wants to fast track deregulation of the banks. How soon will we see another financial melt and how the fuck can we profit on this?
>How soon will we see another financial melt
I don't think it'll accelerate the next crisis, but it'll probably considerably hasten and worsen the one after that. I expect the next regularly scheduled contraction way before the effects of deregulation have time to build up into something nasty.
>how the fuck can we profit on this?
As always, by buying the dip. If you want to be a pro about it - as the interest rates rise, you slowly start to overweight bonds more and more so that when the stock market peaks and everyone's crazy about equity you buy the cheap debt. When the stock market then tanks you'll be sitting on papers with an attractive yield which will spike in price. You sell those off and buy the dip on the stock market.
Basically, be one step ahead of market psychology. When everyone's like "risk - fuck yeah!" you buy the cheap bonds and when everyone's like "oh god, give me something safe!" you buy the cheap stocks.

Perfect. Thanks anon. I'm giving it maybe one or two years before we see the signs. For now lets enjoy this bubble. Cheers.
Bitcoin at 800$ monday. You heard it here first. ETF won't go through.

I realy didnt heard it here first tho.
if bitcoin tanks, more cheap coins to buy.. win/win

Guys what just happened with bitcoin going up a shitload? Can anyone explain
I'm a wantrepreneur with an engineering background. I develop software and design electronics for startup companies in exchange for payment and a little bit of equity. One of the companies I worked for really took off after they got a major investor and now I'm inspired to start something on my own.
What kind of entrepreneurs hire a ghostwriter? Does being an author of a few books increase of your chances of getting your foot in the door in a VC meeting?
That's probably a good idea bro.
Or better might be ghostwriting a useful blog article then bot spamming it to go viral on hackernews or someone websites VCs cruise
>>1846795
I don't get it.
Do you want to start you own company or be a ghostwriter?
Do you mean a business as a ghostwriter?
will it ever go moon?

So far Litecoin have proven to be more dependable than bitcoin for the same fact it's not volatile.
>>1846852
what do you mean by this?
it has greater potential use on earth but is unlikely to ever go moon?

Working in financial sector (either facing clients or doing research) is always high-paying, can be competitive.
Data analytics is getting ridiculous, lots of jobs at every company. not sure of $$$ but at masters lvl probably very good.
IT is also extremely reliable and doesnt sound too hard if youre into that, and some of the internships nowadays pay $25+/hourly which you rarely see outside investment banking/hedge funds.
Engineering is also a good way to start, lots of engineering jobs and gives you a good set of skills that can apply to the business world
sales is always a thing but not as reliable (but lots of finance is basically technical sales)
six figs right out of college is very unusual and typically would come with the expectations of insane hours , but after a few years i was suprised with how many jobs have this kind of earning potential.
what do you like?
>>1846674
Good jobs come to you if you're willing to move to another state/country. If you're gonna stick to the state you live in, you're gonna have a tough time landing a job unless you actually have great experiences/skills since you'll be competing with everyone else applying for the same job as you. If you're willing to move, a lot of companies will love you.
>>1846680
Shit, that's good. I've always been interested in finance. I'll look into it.

If I develop a bunch of online income streams would it be a good idea to bring all of them under the umbrella of some off shore corporation like a British Virgin Islands corp or something?
Like of someone makes some money developing some apps/games, some money doing aff marketing, etc... could I set it up so that the BVI corp is legally doing all those things and not "me"? And then I just pay myself a minimum wage salary and pay tax on that?
Should there be a massive website/app that lists all the volunteering that's available in the area?
People love to feel good about themselves, and volunteering does that.
I believe a website/app could popularize volunteering culture by neatly organizing all the volunteering options by your area, etc
>>1846585
oh, and people can get together to create volunteering groups and what have you, too.
There could be a lot of different potential options for this idea

How is the military in Canada? Is it easy to get out of? Should I join the reserves first?
Reason I'm asking is that I finished an engineering degree a couple of years ago but have not been able to find work.

Did you try looking for one?
>>1846555
No experience in project management, construction, or process engineering.
if you have a degree you can be an officer
think it's a 5 year contract
there's training at the beginning, that you'll have to pay for if you leave early
problem is you do 5 years, and then you're only 20 away from full salary retirement, golden handcuffs

is commercial banking (dealing with midsize/small corporate clients rather than fortune 500 or small business) a good job?
bout to get a finance degree from a highly ranked school but dont want to put in 90gorilllion hours/week in research or i-banking.
will i make enough to save 50k a year for 20 years or so?
5 years into commercial banking making 85k
if you are good with clients you can move quickly to RM and six figs status
good work life balance comparatively

Or should I build a Mining machine with the money I have?

Jk retard, the last thing you want is to buy litecoin
Use half of your cash on eth, spread the rest out on btc, monero and maybe dash
Wait after etc tho, might want to pump more into btc if it get approved
