Hey /biz/
10 years experience working in marketing and coms for the 3rd sector/charities. Not the worst job in the world but tired of wagecuckholdry and don't want to be old and poor. I'm 30 now. Looking at my next step in life.
Good all rounder so outside highly skilled professions (medical, high level STEM) would back myself to learn anything.
Should I...
Stay in my job and study for an MBA at night with a view to becoming a consultant/high level manager. Product design/management also appeals and suits a marketing background and ability to lead a team/innovate/manage projects.
Up my digital/coding skills and use my marketing skills in small team start ups.
Go into a sales/recruitment role with commission and work my way up
start my own business (no funds, and wouldn't want to open a marketing/social media/PR agency but open to most other things. Ideally I'd like to have a product rather than a service ).
I suppose I want to make use of my marketing and copywriting skills but as part of bigger, more financially rewarding career.
Any advice?
